It's not Chuubo's, if that's what you're asking; it's 13th Age.
Someday I will use Chuubo's to run a game based on RWBY. Alas, for the reasons discussed above, today is not likely to be that day. (Tomorrow's not looking good either.)
Aah well. Some day! I'd like to be in any Chuubos you run, since I'm kinda hankering for (real time) Chuuboing. Well, besides the game I'm H Ging. :P
I ship it.Man, I just love talking about arcs and such, but the more insightful discussions on them mostly happen over at rpg.net, so we rarely talk about them here, it's a shame.
Called Away strikes me as fairly good at filling a niche while still being broad enough to fit a lot of characters. Mechanically, it also seems fairly strong. In general Green arcs are kinda strong power-wise, and this is no exception.
I'm interested in just what sort of character John Wicked will end up being once he gets introduced.
I think it'd work pretty well at running Lilimund, even if Jenna herself isn't one hundred percent sure- And it would help facilitate her cool steampunk hero thing.
That reminds me- In the game I'm running, I plan to have her and Laodemus as opposing hero types in the background- including a misinterpreted invitation to bluebell park. Of course, the P Cs'll probably only get bits and pieces of this, so it's more or less just a short tidbit in the background of the PC's adventures. I already asked on RPG net, but how should I be framing themes for Inquisitive Fantasy? It seems kinda weird getting P Cs all in the same place.
I ship it.I wanna see John Wicked and all of the other unreleased P Cs real bad. I'm glad Jenna's set up a Patreon now, if only because there's all this stuff that she's talked about having made and we haven't seen so much of it.
Called Away seems really neat! It's great to have a "character wanders into a wonderland to fight an evil" Arc that fits so many stories. Being Darklord Treasure/True God Persona and the Mysteries post makes me wonder when a set is actually going to be completed.

John Wicked apparently is a PC that'll likely show up in the Horizon campaign. He was first mentioned during the initial development posts Jenna made about Called Away. We know the following about him: That his Shadow is Entropy II, that as a consequence of this people think he's Entropy's secret identity, and that his title is "The Class Rep". That's about it.
You can find the probable Horizon PCs here.
Also, in the first thread of Chuubo, back when it was more of a Nobilis hack, there's a list of all the P Cs here
.
Also, Chuubo: Heir of Hope?
So, Jenna's been posing about the new Immortal Knight Arc, Allegory. It seems neat, though I don't fully understand all its powers. I think it'd be cool to run for that god-like being on Earth that casually mentions playing dice with Caesar, blends into the world despite being sort of quirky, obeys their own set of rules... Maybe good for Fae?
Right now, I'm wondering what it'll be backported into Nobilis as. Almost certainly something Wildlord, but... Treasure? Aspect?
Let's see, Jenna's said they will probably get Accursed and Keeper of Gardens... Putting aside whether they will actually get those in the end, I guess Accursed is probably their Domain and Keeper of Gardens their Treasure. I'm guessing the last Storyteller arc may be their Aspect, so Allegory is likely their Persona. This is just my guess, though.
Makes sense. You use your powers to make things more like your estate/role. I was thinking that Allegory could work as Treasure, with transforming people being the equivalent to anchoring them, plus you get to have a cool car or Accessories and junk. I'm not sure about Keeper of Gardens being Treasure, because it already feels like Lightlord Treasure, but it's not like it's impossible for there to be that kind of overlap.
Doubleposting, but I have an Immortal Emptiness Arc that I made up over here,
and it would be cool if I got some feedback!
Looking at the curses, it strikes me as odd that some of them are going to be heavily affecting the person with the arc and only indirectly impact the people around them (like their wisdom being a curse) and some are the reverse (like how giving people the joys of childhood makes them gay and beautiful and heartless). It kinda feels inconsistent to me.
A catchier name for the Power to Entangle One in Other Destinies might be "Someone Else's Story." Because that's basically what it seems to do, let you insert yourself into someone else's story.
Apparently the Pastoral Player's Guide is next, circa the proper release of GMD.

Now I'm curious, though: What's this skype game you're running?
Also, the days are, so far and tenatively, 'weekends but probably friday night mostly' now that I have the book and have been planning.
I ship it.
