Oh yeah, this one is good. Excellent character designs, though the fairy sometimes flirts with the Uncanny Valley for me.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Didn't I already make a thread about this?
Anyway, yeah, it's a good comic. The fairy is definitely in the Uncanny Valley, the other characters tend to fluctuate, depending on expression and camera angle.
Probably the best CG webcomic out there.
Even with expensive equipment and software, hiring artists to make models and scenes the comic still can run into the uncanny valley. In an interview Scott Sava pretty much said "If you want to try making your own CG comic, don't try. It's very expensive and time-consuming"
Really, this comic is heads and tails above any other comic I have seen in 3d animation.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.So, who has still been keeping track of this comic? Because recent events have been pretty big.
Namely, Dan finally enters Dreamland.
Everything he does afterwards is concentrated awesome, from shouting down Abbadon, to shrugging off his illusions, to manipulating him into providing information that he wants, to demonstrating control over his own dream self to render himself invulnerable. Dan seriously took a level in badass.

This is one of the first webcomics I came across when discovering what webcomics were... and boy, does this beat any other CG comic artist in skill or passion! His rendering machine must operate like a Dream Works studio, and the story he tells is getting more and more complex.
