Concept: World where creations of art and imagination coexist which has been overtaken by a real person who cares only for his own goals while trying to preach how 'morally wrong' his citizens are.
essentially, freedom of imagination and creativity vs. a force of censorship.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. This isn't something I'm working on for a long time. Just putting it out there to see what other people think of it.
This concept is basically a retelling of ''Havelok The Dane''
which is a Chivalric Romance about the prince and princess of Denmark and England who lose their thrones as children due to usurpers. Yes, another retelling.
The main difference is that instead of "Havelock" and "Goldeboru/Argentille" being Danish and English, "Havelock/Cuaran" is the illegitimate son of the fantasy-Danish king and one of his concubines as his wife was infertile. "Argentille" is the illegitimate daughter of the Emperor of China by one of his concubines because his first wife was infertile and she adopted Argentille.

The road goes ever on. -TolkienOkay, got two more concepts for this event.
Concept 3
A space ship and its crew fly straight into a big vapor cloud in space, where they're basically stranded. In a final effort to get help they send out a distress call. However, things take a turn when they witness the mating ritual of planet-sized creatures.
Concept 4: And they alll...
Basically Groundhog Day with Snow White. The story is told by Snow White, and it starts with a story her stepmother, the queen, once told her, about a girl who once almost lost her life, but was saved by a handsome prince, only for her to be ripped away from her. It then tells her story, but with slight twists.
The queen does order the huntsman to take Snow White out to kill her, but she already knows it's never going to happen, as she would later relate to Snow White. The story goes on as planned until she gets offered the apple. Instead of allowing Snow White to eat the apple, she tries to keep her from doing just that. Before Snow White finally takes the bite, Snow White hold the disguised queen's hand, and tells her that it has to be done. Finally the prince comes, frees Snow White from her death, and then the queen appears one final time. Just as everybody is about to kill her though, Snow White intervenes, asking the queen if this was her own story, at which the queen tearfully has to confirm. The queen then turns into Snow White herself, as our Snow White gets engulfed in darkness, with the queen stating that "My story will be yours. I'm sorry." Snow White however smiles back, something the queen hasn't done herself when that very same fate befell her, as Snow White says, "It's okay."
However, instead of being transported back to the beginning of the story, she relates the story back to two investigators who help people from other worlds either integrate into that world or go back home. Snow White herself chooses to stay in that world, taking the name Emily Roberts. During the closer, one of the investigators talk to a young girl, who witnessed the interrogation, asking if it's always going to be like that. He says, "Not always, but it's nice to see something work out." They then hear bells ringing, which is mainly a sign that someone or something is leaving or entering a world. They check back on Snow White, asking if everything's okay, and if she knew what happened, to which she replied, "I just sent her a message, to say that the curse has been lifted."
Also, it's a spin-off story of a novel I'm working on, Eldritch Fairytales.
Now I only need some more story concepts to be sure I'll make it.
Signatures are for lamers.I just had a really fucking weird idea.
You know of the concept of Lilliputians? Well what if the Lilliputians had Lilliputians of their own? What if it was Lilliputians all the way down? The basic idea of the story is that the world is a perpetual Mouse World with people of every size living in conjunction with each other. The protagonist has the ability to change size and goes on a journey and tries not to step on too many civilizations.
Try not to think of the physics of such a world too hard.

[I LIVE AGAIN]A sci-fi military thriller about a squad of soldiers chosen as test subjects for a telepathy serum that could potentially benefit communications technology. Something goes wrong, the government decides to scrap the experiment and have the soldiers killed to cover its tracks and action ensues.
Looking for some stories?A High Fantasy about one of the last members of a race of Dark Is Not Evil Benevolent Precursors teaming up with an ancient swordsman, an androgynous naval officer, an elf-witch, and his 20,000 year-old yet ageless mother to unite the nations of the world against the forces of the goddess of a race of Light Is Not Good Abusive Precursors.

"TV Tropes looks like if Tumblr got a little crazy at a party last night and brought someone home"A quick Urban Fantasy idea I had, several races of immortal beings (such as vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards, elves, famous people from history who have been made immortal etc.) have lived throughout the ages engaged in a war for supremacy until one day in the modern future they all enter a truce and reveal themselves to the world. The basic frame of the story is a high ranking journalist interviewing all the major players from each species in an attempt to understand what was truly going on during the war and what led to the eventual truce.

The road goes ever on. -TolkienFollowing a major terrorist attack on several capital cities by an unknown force, the UN calls a top-secret meeting in an undisclosed location. There, the leaders of the world must overcome the high tensions to plan a course of action and hopefully track down the perpetrators before they strike again. Intrigue and thriller shenanigans ensue.
Looking for some stories?i've been rolling two concepts around and building on them little by little
1: Underworld/Overworld War
demons v. angels Schizo Tech scenario. demons and angels had been warring with each other for an immeasurable period of time; eventually, one girly and hotheaded yet clever and highly-competent incubus, Calix, uncovers some ancient lore about a powerful MacGuffin that could fuse the under- and over-worlds into one, peaceful existance (or terminate everyone, it's not made clear.) he decides whatever it is, it's better than fighting each other for the rest of forever. the 'devil' (y'know, whatever sort of figure i decide will be the underworld leader) won't hear him out or back him up, so the incubus gathers a band of demons into a rebellious faction aimed at uncovering and activating the macguffin
problem is, they need an angel to accomplish their goal (for what reason exactly, i'm still juggling ideas); Calix manages to snag a very cowardly and reluctant angelic Mook (named Angel; he is ridiculed for this) who now has to play the role of hero and savior to a band of folks he'd been raised and trained to hate and fight against, and pledge his life to a cause that may change the world as he knows it
or end it, y'know
i'll post the other concept later

i just want to take all your stress and like beat it up or something. thats romantic, right? So here's an idea that's been in my head awhile.
In some fantasy kingdom that I haven't named yet, there is a terrible plague spreading across the land. As of now it cannot be cured by traditional nor magical means.
When the plague spreads to his village, that I also haven't named yet, our dear protagonist, who doesn't have a name yet, is sent to tell the Queen about the awful news.
Along the way he meets new friends, is attacked by wild animals, eats berries that he shouldn't have, learns some magic and generally has a nice big adventure. As his journey to the capital and her Highness continues he hears rumors concerning the origins of the plague. Some say it's a curse from the gods, others blame the various other races of elves and orcs and so on moving into the land. But others still believe it's an evil magic that originated from the south. From a lonely old castle that once seated an emperor who ruled the land with dark magic. The emperor and the empire was destroyed many decades ago during a terrible war but the castle still stands, protected by curses and traps. Legend has it that the emperor's old champion, a hellish demon clad in black armor still rides in and out of the castle it's motives unknowable.
I've put a bit more thought into the setting than the narrative so I dunno where exactly this will go. Any tips or criticisms would be appreciated.
Oh really when?
sounds like a hellastrong concept. if there ends up being enough content, maybe it could be split in two; the journey to the castle could be a story in its own right, with a hook that leads into some sweet medieval-fantasy heroism in the second episode
So here's the general idea for my Knights of the Old Republic fanfic (I know, Star Wars, real original): A prequel that details the actions of Revan, Malak, and the Exile during the Mandalorian Wars. The main theme will be sort of a "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" thing - Start of Darknesses and (S)he Who Fights Monsters abound. I'm thinking of going with the Exile as the main character.

"We'll take the next chance, and the next, until we win, or the chances are spent."The Melancholy of Tara Markov.
Dick Grayson is an ordinary student at Gotham High. He keeps slipping up and calling his dad, "Mister Gordon".
Garfield is the stray cat who adopted Dick and claims to have formally worked for a secret agent team, before getting trapped as a cat, of course.
Babs is the 13 year old little sister of the Gordon family. She calls her adopted big brother "My Dick" and always says "It's okay, we're not blood related" whenever making requests to bathe or sleep together. He responds that this makes it especially not okay.
Tara is the girl in Dick's class who tends to boss him around. It will later be revealed that she must not know that she has a power that can rip the Earth apart.
Raven Roth is a shy brilliant girl at their school. She tried to avoid other people and sit alone reading trashy romance novels, but Tara insists on invading her club room.
Corrie Karras is a foreign student who claims to be from France, but doesn't look or speak French.
Victor Stone is the fifth member of the "Seismic Observation Station" club. He's a burn victim who's been secretly rebuilt.
The problem is that I can't see how to write this without getting trapped by my sources and other cliches.

I have no idea what you're talking about. THEY NEVER MADE A NOVEL ABOUT REVAN. EVER.

Only made this concept because I'm sick and board
Concept: An Arkham Horror story in the style of a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.
