They want money, attention, affection and an athletic build from a boyfriend. That's just in general. If you've got leadership and other tribe-building skills, and evidence of your success (money, slaves, Tyrannosaurus Rex skull mounted on your wall) then you're set. Success and confidence are like glowing neon signs saying "I WILL MAKE A GOOD BOYFRIEND."
In the same place I was that one time, all the timeI see this thread going downhill FASTTTTT.
girls have liked me due to me being weird and nerdy and whatnot. The two girls i am 'with' post-HS said stuff like that. The fact that I'm a bigger weeaboo and nerd than them helps too

WHASSUP....... ....with lolis!Really, you're probably set with the Tyrannosaurus skull alone.
Not assuming that half the population has the same wants might be good too.

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Well, real tastes vary from individual to individual. Some girls actually like nerdy guys. Others like being in control. In general, though, tribe-building skills are the most effective ways of getting girls.
And yes, I did just say "getting girls," implying ownership, implying patriarchy.
In the same place I was that one time, all the timeWell, I assume you have some background in temporal engineering?
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.It's better to specify I guess, e.g. "what to do to get a 40 year old artist as a girlfriend if you're 20" vs "looking for a 20 year old who does modeling on the side and is 'slightly geeky'"
Why am I discussing this
EDIT:
Which kinds?

WHASSUP....... ....with lolis!Nerdiness is okay sometimes, but in my experience it's like girl poison. Unless you possess the kind of androgynous charm and glasses that many women seem to think of as nerdy, that is. Neckbeards are not held in high esteem in the general female public.
In the same place I was that one time, all the timeReally depends on the girl. What kind of relationship they want, which qualities they prefer, etc... Of course, some qualities, e.g. being a bit athelethic at least apply for most of them. I think the crucial thing for relationships is establishing contact. Maybe the girl that is always smiling at you in the hallway prefers a geek but you have no way of knowing this if you don't speak to her. Getting the communication started is important. Also, even if you can't get together on your first try, don't give up, as hard as it sounds.
My advice:
Be confident, but not arrogant.
Treat her with respect. Don't put her on a pedestal. She's a human being, and she's free to be just as wonderful and flawed as the rest of us.
Be Yourself. You've heard this a million times, but it bears repeating, because it's true.
LISTEN TO HER!!!! Hear what she has to say. Don't make everything about you.
...well that's me, so factor that in. Of course unlike hipsters I can back up my stuff (I have 400GB< of anime on my HD, read up on Soviet and [Showa Era] Japanese history, etc). I hope I don't sound like a bragget normalfag.
oh dear this 'confidence' meme coming out

WHASSUP....... ....with lolis!

What exactly do girls look for in a guy after High School is over and done with? Do they change their taste at all?
Note: You may notice a theme in my Topics in this thread and others.
Conclusion?
TV tropes is helping me grow up
