So does this mean Terry will get more screen time? Because I really want him to. Hopefully he will get a filler arc in the Anime.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Well now. That is some dish hidden in that chest.
So that is how all those chefs are going to be introduced to the main plot line.
I knew that guy was gonna get kidnapped. As long has he doesn't take up too much panel space, I'll be fine with it though.
Imagine Rakan applying Calling Your Attacks to doing paperwork.~Anarchy Rakan for the hell of it COMMISSION THIS BRIDGE!~EHKCan't say i'm too choked up about Ootake's capture. He really wasn't introduced well at all, made to be even remotely likeable or sympathetic, or really making any lasting impression. There was some good story potential from the implications that he became this way because he was desperate to get the public to try his food, and he fell to greed, but it felt wasted. The fact that he got taken off-screen didn't help With his capture, it may be quite while before we even see him again.
Next arc, I really hope Coco and Terry play a part. Coco I feel confident, as he hasn't gotten a true arc in a while, and he did rank #2 on the polls
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Well, Ootake and Komatsu apparently felt the calling of two different ingredients, according to the Manga Stream translation. That combined with Ootake's probable jealousy of Komatsu being partnered with Toriko and focus on getting ingredients by any means necessary makes me think he might have been "persuaded to join" and not "kidnapped." If so, he will become important latter and this was just to introduce him and the other chefs.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!
He's going to become the Colonel Nicholson of the captured chefs.
It is a classic, but it is an old (1957) classic. It is over twice as old as I am. Only reason I recognize/have seen it is because my parents made me watch it a while back. Probably would never have seen it (or any other movie from that era) otherwise.
BTW: I did like it and would recommend that others watch it if the topic ever came up.

DAMN! Beat me to it.
So Coco finally comes along.....And it's an ingredient that DOESN'T REQUIRE FIGHTING?! GAHHH!! Ah just kidding. Given the kind of people in this town, a fight is inevitable. And this town was really well depicted as being an utter shit hole that would of course be a drug runner's heaven. That casino is giving me shades of New Pork City.
And given the mention of the Gourmet Yakuza, I have a strong suspicion we will be seeing our old friend Match again.....
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I forgot about Match.
Yeah this looks very interesting. I love how pretty his places look. Maybe it won't be fighting the last line thing seems to indicate that Komatsu will be useful.

A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.

That seems like the best comparison, except 10x grosser.
