Ummm...I can't seem to find a signup thread for this (maybe I'm just blind) but is it too late to join in? I can roll up a character pretty fast, just let me know what's needed / what's appropriate.

Hey, balrog. There's no signup thread because the game was started by the people in this thread and the signing up is done there. It was Zersk's idea.

The others who are playing use that thread frequently, but you can join if you want. I don't mind.

Is a Ranger alright? I know there's one already, but been meaning to create one for a while now.If not, I could do a Rogue as well.

Yeah. That would be fine.

Right, I've put up the character sheet here.

Have a look through and let me know if that's alright.

Edit: Hold on, I just realised I screwed up some of the skill ranks. Just a minute. Fixed it.

Ah, another Ranger...

Looks at stats...

This could be interesting.

I'm in love with the stats. It's a nice change after my last character was a 12-12-9-10-11-9.

Which was a little annoying, to say the least.

Ah. Speaking of which, have you read through this thread yet? It has some background info on the game so it might not be a bad idea.

I've gone through most of it, yes, just reading the IRC logs now.

Well, okay. Hrm... my character can get some serious inferiority complex after meeting yours. That could be interesting.

In any case, I'll be interested in hearing the backstory for your character once you're done with the thread.

Hey, Everest. Just wondering, for when you see this next...

But I was looking at mounts for Seren, when she advances that far. I was wondering, what would you think of her having a Hippogriff for a mount?

A hippogriff is fine, since it meets the same CR as a heavy warhorse, which Paladins are also allowed to take and use as a standard.

Also, balrog, if your ranger has a Con. modifier of +1, his health should be 9. We're starting with max health. Just making sure you didn't overlook that.

Say, is anybody else having problems connecting with Mibbit? It doesn't look like it's being allowed.

Oh, damn, I was at work. What time? I'll be up late so no troubles.

Everest Since: Sep, 2011
#194: Jan 29th 2011 at 2:45:30 PM

In about two and a half hours. What hours work for you, by the way? I mean, ideally you'd be able to make it at this time each week, but I should know in case a certain day doesn't work for everyone.

@ Moephist and balrog: I'd like your timezone (in GMT form) and hours that you can make it on each day, if it wouldn't be too much to ask. You won't have to list Tuesdays or Fridays, since I can't make it on those days, but I want to know exactly what my options are as far as scheduling goes.

I'm in EST/EDT and I'm typically fine on any day that's not Monday or Tuesday, and I'm fine with pretty much any time in the afternoon.

Hrm... Mibbit's working for me again. It didn't seem to earlier... Oh well.

I'm on German time, so GMT +1. Should be able to make it most days, I can stay up until about 5ish my time since I work evenings. I don't have a concrete work schedule, but I can usually make most things work.

Everest Since: Sep, 2011
#197: Jan 29th 2011 at 3:07:05 PM

Okay. Adding both of those timezones and schedules to wha tI already have, here's what should work for everyone most of the time, in my time, which is GMT -5 (EDT/EST, so same as Moe's):

Day/time

Sunday: 8:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M.
Wednesday: 8:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M.
Thursday: 8:30 P.M.-11:00 P.M.
Saturday: 8:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M.

That leaves three hours on most days. Does everyone feel like that is a substantial amount of time for a game each week, or should we do what we did last week? This will also change in about a month, once swim team is over, but I'm not yet sure how much difference it'll make.

That should be alright, though now and then I may have to leave you guys a little earlier than the rest.

Actually, looking at the times again and doing my math right this time, nevermind the leaving early bit.

It might not actually be today, unless I can get INUH to DM the game and control Llayra for me. I'm still running a fever and not feeling well, though I'm feeling much better. Staying up too late is probably not the best idea right now. At least, not if I want to recover sooner.

We could do it tomorrow instead, or something.
