Perhaps Seren after she learns to deal with her problems and calms down?
Also, I'm planning for the next update in the liveblog to be a scene involving Seren, and her reaction to yesterday's events. It'll explain a fair bit, and it'll explain why Seren has calmed herself so much by the time she gets back to camp.
There are too many toasters in my chimney!Thought I'd check in real quick before I went to bed - I'd also recommend Seren for diplomacy and "face" of the group, long as that anger stays in check. I'm sending my log files to Meophist ASAP, since mIRC was kind enough to actually work this time around, so those should be up in the near future.
I probably should be rolling up my character...but damn, I hate rolling for stats, as I've stated before.
Remember what happened last time someone thought rolling for stats was a good idea? Yeah.
Point Buy eff-tee-dubayu.
"Who wants to hear about good stuff when the bottom of the abyss of human failure that you know doesn't exist is so much greater?"-Wraith>implying that stat-rolling is FATAL's greatest flaw. :P
On a more serious note, if you don't roll well, you can reroll, under either or both of two conditions:
1. You don't possess a single ability score greater than 13 before racial adjustment.
2. The sum of your ability score modifiers is less than or equal to +0.

You put the rolls wherever you want to put them.
If you get, for example, 13, 16, 6, 10, 12, and 14, you don't have to put them in Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, and Cha, respectively. If you're playing a monk, you could put the 16 in Dex, or you could put it in Wis or Str or something, for the sake of utility, and then the rest wherever, as well.

@Everest Really? That's actually what my question regarding my abilities was about, I was wondering if I could just take the ability advancement
feat to avoid lugging that 9 Charisma around for the next three levels. I guess I won't need to if I get to reroll though. Even so, is it okay for me to use the feat?
Edit: Also, is it cool if I reroll anything that comes out as less than eight?

Well, I'm much more pleased with what I rolled the second time around, save for the fact that there was a 7 in there somewhere. Not really sure what I'm going to do with that. What about my other question, regarding the ability advancement feat? If possible, I'd like to use it to avoid the -2 I'll be getting on whatever stat I allot the 7 to.
Also, @Everest: I just realized that I never answered your question regarding playing characters for absent players. I'd be more than happy to, once I get into the swing of things.

Oh my god.
There's actually a Monk fighting style called "Kickass Kung-Fu Fighting Style
.
I'M SO TAKING THAT
"Who wants to hear about good stuff when the bottom of the abyss of human failure that you know doesn't exist is so much greater?"-WraithReally? But this
says that it's for one of my ability scores. It also means that I'd have to spend both of my starting feats to get it, however, so it might not even be worth it.
Hello. I should point out that many of the DandDwiki pages are homebrew and may not be balanced. Many just seem to be random stuff people just came up with.
As for where to post the log, would posting it in this thread be unfeasible?

Yah. I'm recommending Tramlaw as the party leader.
A face is pretty important, though. They're the people the party looks at to perform well in diplomacy, negotiations, etc. A character with high CHA is good, and high INT and WIS helps.
So maybe Felgrove?
