There's nothing there to indicate that the guy is a "bad boy" other than his somewhat preoccupied expression.

While normally I am against images which are simple like this, I actually think this one works quite well. Just...the way his face looks makes him seem obviously like a bad boy.

If someone can find a better image I'm all for it. If not, I'd rather have this image than no image.

I'm gonna go with meh as well.

He just looks angry, and there is no real show of him being a bad boy.

It doesn't strike me as a bad image, it's just not that great.

Not really fond of that picture either. The guy doesn't really strike me as bad boy.

I am moderately shocked that James Dean isn't recognizable enough.

The image looks fine. Never heard of what its from but it screams of this trope. Keep it.

Yeah, that movie likely fell out of common viewing quickly. Old black and white movies tend to do that.

[up] That is the inverse of Fan Myopia :) James Dean might be one of the most famous "bad boys" ever, and Rebel Without a Cause is his signature role.

Oh well! tho... not saying it should be kept, exactly (tho I think the image is okay without context, and great with) just kind of surprised it is being questioned.

... but why not have something for those not familiar with it?

I guess the question arises here as to what kind of page image we're looking for. When we can settle on THAT, maybe we can decide on a better page image.

[up][up]Being famous doesn't mean anyone's watched it or could recognize the characters by appearance.

Maybe add a Pot Hole to James Dean. I haven't seen any movies that he was in, but I know that he's pretty much the Bad Boy. He practically invented the trope.

I say leave the picture.

+1 for the "meh pic, but good enough for the page" vote
