I'd rather have them make a sequel than make a remake of a one-year-old game.
Stargate SG-1 Let's Watch. Because my ZHP thing failed.No. Just... no. More games like Sonic Colors, please.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I count Sonic Colors as the remake.
Now posting as Enzeru, this serves as an emergency avatar backup accountWhen was the last time a game was remade in the same console generation anyway? * There are far more games more deserving of a remake than Sonic Unleashed anyway. It was fine as it was. Though it could have used less Werehog.
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.I think there should be a minigame similar to Trapped Alive from Sonic Spinball.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DYeah, well I started to think about reprogramming some night levels that could be reprogrammed into day levels, and I saw SO MANY DAMN NIGHT LEVELS THAT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE CHANGED FROM DAY TO NIGHT AT THE LAST DAMN MINUTE. But then I realized I couldn't get the source code for it.
I do think they should make a remake, but have it be a two-disc game.
Disc 1: Original Sonic Unleashed only 2 night levels from each continent are turned into day levels Put 2 day stages and 2 night levels on Mazuri, keep the boss
Disc 2: Sonic Unleashed 2 4 day levels per continent 1 night level per continent 1 bonus stage per continent 1 boss per continent
I played through Sonic Unleashed with my friend, we're reviewing it and putting it on You Tube. My channel is basically empty :/ but I'm putting up some DDR footage, and an LP of a few games. Me and my friend are doing reviews after we get the LP and the DDR shit up.

^ I'd play it, if only to get a chance to die laughing.

The game was far too easy. Give the enemies more hit points (I'm thinking at least ten hits for the weaker ones). Of course, this could be frustrating, so Sonic should have a ranged attack. A gun could work, since it's been used in a previous Sonic game (and according to that games original TV Tropes page, it was "pretty damn good'').
The ring system is getting outdated, too. Instead, Sonic should have a health bar. The shields from the Genesis games could be brought back, but work in a different way: They have their own health bar which goes down when you're hit, and recharges itself if you go long enough without damage.
Instead of a point-A to point-B system, there should be level objectives. For example, one stage would require you to take out a certain enemy, while another would be an escort mission, and yet another would be capturing a number of control points. Lastly, I'd like to see some new kinds of environments. Maybe more realistic ones, like a brown field, or something gritty like the rubble of a bombed city.
The game had the potential to be really good. The creators would just need to change a few things to make it GOTY-worthy.

The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.I want another game where you can play as Amy Rose. There would be levels where the objective is to find Sonic, but we see the world through Amy-vision—and in Amy-vision, everyone in the world looks like Sonic until you glomp them. You gotta use strategy, because you'll die if you glomp too many badniks, but you'll get arrested if you bop too many random civilians with your hammer.
Actactually a few things in that Colors rant was okay.
Well, one thing.
Well, part of a thing.
The bosses could have used a little more health. And if the final boss does use anything other than Spikes, Cube, and Laser, then they're way too rare. Mix it up a bit.
Otherwise, it was a great game. Would play again.
I have a message from another time...
That's precisely the stuff that people feel is Sega trying to be too Darker and Edgier.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Unleashed and Colors do not feel like you are controling Sonic, it is more like you running wild and using powers to get through.
I liked the Genesis games, and both Adventures. Heroes was passable, but too many flashy things, rails over everything and only Speed characters being bearable takes its toll. Shadow was Adventure 2, made Darker and Edgier, and with several of Heroes' bad elements. And 06 was released half finished and included those bad elements.
Life bars and Sonic do not mix quite well. Speed should be rewarded and give rewards, not something instant. BOUNCING FROM ENEMIES. Different characters playing similar enough, yet different enough; I want to play as Knuckles and be able to, at the cost of some speed and jump power, run through a different route as Sonic, or glide over the lava. I want to be able to play as Tails, to see, when I am stuck as Sonic, what to expect ahead to not die the second I get unstuck.
But the devs seem to think Speed is everything. Well, at least we got away from the tedious enemies of Heroes, Shadow and 06, I disliked having to hit a big guy 30 times to get a cage to open, and go on with the level.
Unleashed did not let you go slow. That was as bad as the speed limit in 06.

What if SEGA remade Sonic Unleashed? My remake concept is much Darker and Edgier, on par with the melodrama of 06, Shadow, and SATAM. Amy and Tails have bigger roles and are now playable. Knuckles, Rouge, Shadow, Cubot, Fang, and Marine have been thrown in and the first three are playable.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2D
