  • It's not Dis.
  • It's not Karma.
  • It's not about a journey - not unless you want to exercise some very creative interpretation and ignore the lyrics.
  • It's not I'm On A Boat. Please. *rolls eyes*
  • It's not Soramimi Cake.
  • The anime does not have anything to do with pandas, AFAIK.

Does the animation for the some have similar aesthetics or a similar artistic concept to the animation for the Life is Like a Boat video? Things such as: a black background, a lone person standing solemnly, as if reflecting? Images of characters scrolling across the screen? An illustrious red ribbon? An image of the starry sky?

Since you put it like that... Yes, in that at least one of these elements is present in part or in whole during the animation. (But I don't have the video on hand to directly cross-reference, so you'll have to go with my sketchy memory.)

Does the song mention the moon?

Does the song have to do with achieving one's goals?

Does the song have to do with love?

  • The song mentions the moon.
  • The song technically mentions achieving a particular goal, but not achieving one's goals in general.
  • The song doesn't directly mention love, but you can derive that meaning easily enough if you refer to the lyrics.

In the song's lyrics, is the moon the direct object of a transitive verb, not including verbs such as see, look, gaze, watch, et cetera?

Is the moon the indirect object of a verb, in the song?

Does the moon do anything besides shine light in the song?

  • The moon is not the direct object of a transitive verb.
  • The moon is not the indirect object of a verb.
  • The moon doesn't do anything besides shine light.

(And if we make it to the end of the page without anyone getting closer, I'm putting up a bonus hint.)

Regarding the song's lyrics, does the moon specifically shine upon a person or several people?

Does the moon specifically shine upon a place or landscape?

Does the moon not specifically shine upon anything?

  • Moonlight technically shines down on a particular person or people. (Not explicitly phrased that way, but can be inferred from one of the lines.)
  • Moonlight technically shines down on a particular place or landscape. (More specifically, it shines down on a metaphorical "place" that isn't an actual geographical location.)
  • So yeah, the moon shines down on something, at least.

No, it's To The Beginning...

(Yup, meta-joke about the first round. Never seen that before.)

1: Mou Matenai Yo!

... and as per the previous stage, the song (To The Beginning) is the hint.

Does the animation for the some have similar aesthetics or a similar artistic concept to the animation for the To The Beginning video?

Has the song been used in this game before?

Does this song mention the moon?

How did you conceptualize To The Beginning and Life is Like a Boat to be similar?
