Is it sci-fi without any fantasy, with spaceships and such?

After 2007?

Before 2000?

It's never really indicated that there's a Conveniently Close Planet. If there was, I never noticed.

Eh, some of these are subjective, but I'll try to answer them:

  • It's kinda odd, but there are espers and aliens.
  • Females could be considered to have a greater role than males, at least where the main characters are concerned.
  • There isn't more than one generation of characters in this particular work.

Are the espers called Newtypes?

Does the anime have mecha at all?

Are the aliens Space Elves?

Clarification: the espers aren't exactly espers in the traditional sense, but their power set is practically similar.

  • No time travellers. (And no, it's not God Knows.)
  • It's not an OP.
    • It's an ED.
  • The espers are not Newtypes.
  • There are mecha.
  • The aliens are not Space Elves. Also, despite what it looks like, the aliens are also not Space Elves. (Yes, this is important.)

  • It's not an adaptation.
  • It technically only has one season, assuming you define "season" as your US 6-month window. (This does not indicate the number of cours.)
  • It doesn't have an OVA.

Does the anime feature at least one Idol Singer?

Does the anime have 5 or more ED themes, including variations of each ED?

Does the anime belong to the Super Robot Genre?

Ugh, I can't seem to think at the moment.

Is it a Space Opera?

Did the studio that produced it produce one of the anime that's currently airing?

Does it have a video game?

Was the dubbed version a movie? (if one exists, and if it does have a Video Game [up])

If so, then was it the Mega Man Star Force Anime?

Oh, c'mon, it's the Lunar New Year. I've been out visiting as per good ol' Chinese tradition. Anyway, it looks like you might have a pretty good idea of what it is...

  • More than 14 episodes.
    • 28 episodes or less.
  • At least one Idol Singer. I'm predictable...
  • More than 5 EDs, accounting for variation. ...aren't I?
  • Not Super Robot genre.
  • Counts as a Space Opera, I'd guess.
  • Production studio has an anime currently airing. (At least one.)
  • No dubbed version, and unlikely to see one any time soon if my understanding of history is correct.
  • Not Mega Man Star Force.
  • Not Full Metal Panic Fumoffu.
