  • Depending on which reference you use, at least one of the anime was produced (or co-produced) by either Studio DEEN, ufotable or P.A. Works. (To clarify: As far as I know, the work proper was not produced by one of these three; however, the series it was derived from was - but some sources state otherwise.)
  • Neither anime was produced by Silver Link, Manglobe or AIC.
  • At least one of the anime was produced by Gonzo, Asread or Diomedia.

Summation!

Round... Uh, 393: I'd like to Vie a Bowel!

Tonight's category is: Before and After. This means that there are 2 songs, and you have to successfully guess both songs in one shot to win.

(For those who aren't familiar with Wheel Of Fortune, the Before and After category combines two things with a common word, usually at the end of the first item and the beginning of the second. For example, combining Shangri-la with La Divinia Tragedia ~Makyoku~ will give Shangri-La Divinia Tragedia ~Makyoku~. In other words, the answer should look something like this:

(Song 1 {Common Word) Song 2}.

And yes, that's the hint. To avoid making this more difficult than intended, there are no restrictions aside from the standard rules.

CLARIFICATION: If the titles were originally in hiragana / kanji, assume I'm using the original, phonetic or romanji versions. If they were in katakana / English / Engrish, then assume I'm using the titles as written or translated.

Obvyously it were anime 1 (there isn't reason to switch).

Sport?

Slice of life?

Detective?

(anime 1 of course. It should be clear enough like that)

You should still specify; as you've seen, some people like to ask about both Song 1 and 2 in the same post. To answer:

Anime 1 can be considered an action series.

Anime 1 is not considered to be of the following genres:

  • Horror
  • Thriller
  • Sport
  • Slice Of Life
  • Mystery / Detective

Is song 2 an ED?

Did the singer for song 2 sing any OP songs in a SHAFT-produced anime?

Is anime 2 a comedy, or feature any comedic elements?

  • Song 2 is not an ED.
  • The singer for Song 2 hasn't sung any songs for a Shaft-produced anime, as far as I can tell.
  • Anime 2 is not a comedy; comedic elements are occasionally present but are not a major part of the anime.

Tenzen: It's not any of those three, and while you've got the idea behind the format, the answers should be the song titles, not the anime names. I'm not counting those attempts, as it's my fault for not providing a clear example.

    • Which means it's not Studio Pierrot...
      • ...or Studio Nomad.

  • Anime 1 started airing before 2004.
  • While Anime 1 proper (i.e. the specific named work) didn't start airing in an even-numbered year, the series it was derived from did.

  • Is the song title in English?
  • Is the entire song in English?
  • Does the song originate from another source outside of the anime?

  • Did the anime first air after 2009?
  • Is the anime mentioned on this page?
