Crap. Should've gone for So Ra No Wo To given the lines of reasoning, but I must've subconsciously decided not to fight this one.
Crap... Pyrites' too smart for this game. He should help me win....
Is it God Knows?
flygon is pretty strong too, honestly. (Actually, I suspect his thought processes run parallel to mine, assuming anything can run parallel to a tangled, convoluted mess. I hope that wasn't an insult.) But anyway, I think we've reached the point where we've got our own formulas for breaking down the choices, so it's just a matter of using the right search terms and making the required leap in logic before the others do, so once I see shark33 break out the NTKIA list I know the clock is ticking.
Poke (in response to failing a spot check 3 pages back): The original question was if the studio had a TV Tropes page. My fault for not phrasing it correctly.

Nope. I didn't get pokenatic's line of reasoning at all. What won me the round is the rarity of anime with, music, slice-of-life and sci-fi elements all in one (So Ra No Wo To is not even listed as slice-of-life on MAL, but sci-fi/music is still rare enough to make a guess on it, seeing as half of the other entries are Macross).
Anyway, new round:
Hint: Don't eat that apple! I think it's fatal.

I wasn't awake when the "music" hint came out, so I guess I was at a disadvantage. Still, I'm fairly sure your questions have actually reflected my thought processes for quite a number of rounds, so if you're able to do that and remain sane... more power to you.
Let's go, then.

Is it from Death Note? No
Is death a key theme in either the song or the anime? I a way, yes.
Are apples a key motif in either the song or the anime? Yes
(Joke question: Is it Bad Apple!?) LOL no.
Is it Tabi no Tochuu? No
Is it Ringo Biyori? No
Is the anime on How Do You Like Them Apples? No
Is the anime:
Science Fiction? No
Action / Adventure? No
Is it Horror-themed? No
Slice of Life? No
Are there supernatural elements? Yes
And there we go. It's DEAR FUTURE (yes, the song is spelt in all caps). Technically, I was thinking about the (illegal) Ringo Deathstarr version, but I didn't expect anyone to get that, so DEAR Future is fine. It was never meant to be a tough round anyway.
Hint explanation Ringo=apple. "I think it's fatal" is line from the full version of DEAR FUTURE, and while that particular isn't in the Ringo Deathstarr version, it still alludes to it with the death connection.
Also, the round title was a hint too.

Does the anime feature a character who goes through a Moral Event Horizon?
Is the anime listed on the Deconstruction page?
Is it an Opening Theme?
Is the work listed on the Anime & Manga page for Moral Event Horizon?
Is it an Anime First work?
Does the anime have a White-Haired Pretty Boy?

I will take that last one as a "yes". Purely for technical reasons, of course.
Is it Fly me to the Moon?
Waiting So Long?
Is the anime listed on the Heroic BSoD page?
