Sorry, need to clarify. Is the board / tabletop game in the public domain?
Grrrrargh, time to split hairs.
Is it a board game (as opposed to the following:)? No
Is it a tabletop game or sourcebook (as TV Tropes defines it)? Yes
Is it just a game that you happen to play on a table or any level surface? No
My goodness, I didn't even know this anime had a TV Tropes page...
Is it Erinyes?

whoa! Pyrites serious....
Wait, so you knew Night Wizard, but didn't know it had a TV Tropes page? Anyway...
...that's the correct answer!
Hint explanation: An Erinyes is a creature in Greek mythology that is often associated with anger, vengeance, wrath etc. So they key words in my hint which led to this song were "anger" and "Greek".
I will post the final hint count later. Your turn, Pyrite.

Nope, I didn't know at all. I brute-forced all Japanese tabletop role-playing games on Wikipedia - which, fortunately, wasn't that long. (I do know what they call the Kindly Ones though. Benefits of a classical education.) It's just that, well, it's the first time I've seen it referenced anywhere, and I lurk around a lot of forums. Not to mention that it's never turned up on my routine TV Tropes Wiki Walk.
But enough about me, let's get on with it.

Is it from School Days?
Is the anime an adaptation? Of a manga?
Is the anime related to the Super Robot Wars franchise? Yes, I know about that one DS game and its sequel
Was the anime simulcasted by Crunchyroll?
Is the anime sci-fi?
Is it a Slice of Life anime? Here's the top 4 players. Dorkus - 41 wins. Does it have a TV Tropes page? Pyrite - 34 wins. I think this included the "Won't Get Fooled Again" round. shark33 - 33 wins. Does it have anything to do with pandas? PokÚnatic - 30 wins.

Is it on the list above?
Is the studio that produced the anime listed on the Names to Know in Anime page?
Does the studio have a TV Tropes page?
Is there an anime produced by the same studio that produced the anime that the song is from currently airing for the first time in any Japanese television station?

Is the studio AIC? Madhouse? Is the anime produced by the studio that produced the same anime you are trying to make us guess ends this season?
Yes, I'm going that route. Some times it's better to just give up and use brute force.
And I see someone updated the studios section of the NTKIA page, it's a bit harder but still.
Is it produced by JC Staff, Studio BONES, Bee Train, or Gonzo?
Is it produced by Kyoto Animation, Production IG, Manglobe, or Studio DEEN?
Is it produced by Studio Gainax, Studio Shaft, Sunrise, or Tatsunoko Productions ?

Is it by J.C Staff? Studio Bones? Gonzo?
So this is what it means to be part of the "night crew" - you can brute-force while the rest of the world is sleeping / working, but it's kinda sad without the human interaction. But I digress.
