"Oh, right. I guess that would look kind of odd. It is how my power works. I have an kind of electrical ability, but I cannot simply toss lightning bolts around or create electrical charge myself. That is why I have this fork." She takes the slightly melted utensil out again. "I stick it in electrical sockets."
She looks over at Kirby.
"Oh, I understand now. You get stronger by swallowing things."

Steven turned to Ethena, when he spoke his voice had a slight tint of anger in it, the kind of voice one might hear from someone who's trying hard not to be angry, and isn't doing so hot. "Speaking of questions, where the hell do you get off aiming that pink thing... INTO MY CIRCLE? That could've gotten me killed, damnit." He realized a relatively simple spell like that probably wouldn't end in his death, but it was the principle of the matter.
Liveblog | Deadblog"You can't just send g..." Steven's voice grew angrier before he suddenly stopped. He closed his eyes, frowning as he did the mental exercises his mentor had taught him. It helped a little on his anger, but id didn't make him feel any better about the whole thing. He opened his eyes again. "You're right, nobody died, but..." He paused, this was a little tricky to explain. "When I cast a spell, the circle keeps my power, and whatever spooks I summon, contained until I unleash it. Bad things happen when it gets broken when the spell's not 100% done, but I reckon you had no way of knowing that." He felt calmer, explaining something complicated got his mind off whatever angered him most of the time.
Liveblog | DeadblogA feeling of calm starts to flow, the conflict is over, that feels good... Then suddenly, a noise catches the ears of those endowed with good hearing, a light chirping noise... It seems to come from the ruined buildings.
I run on a weird timescale. 3 is when I wake up, and go to sleep... PM and AM respectfully.Emily Tremo was cold. That's the first thing she thought of when she awakened on the floor. She moved, weakly, her lithe, pale form curled up on the ground. She shook her head and rose from the ground, running a hand through her nearly white hair.
"Ugh..."
Emily shut her pale blue eyes tightly, and then reopened them. A little ways off, there was some very strange-looking figures.
"Where am I...?"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

"Why'd you stick your hand in there anyway?" Nomad asked, looking around at the empty street they were in. He didn't bother changing suit mode right now.
