The Invisible Woman ones rely on far more text than the Simon one, in addition to being two images.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyThe Simon pictures are just JAFAAC to me. "Oh, OK, so they're pictures of the same guy? And he was weak before, but not after, and didn't just activate his powers or something, so he Took a Level in Badass between pic 1 and pic 2? Um, OK, if you say so...."
Jet-a-Reeno!Also, that is not what JAFAAC means.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyHonestly, the Invisible Woman picture and the Simon picture both have problems.
The first Simon pic is good (He looks timid and weak), but the second is just a blurry green mess, and it's not even clear they're the same person. A better one should be clearer at the very least, with probably a clearer emphasis on who it is.
The second Sue pic is great, but the first is just a bunch of text and, worse still, doesn't actually illustrate that she is weak (Only that the other people disrespect her). A better one might involve Sue being kidnapped or something along those lines.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.To me, that looks like two pictures of someone with a level in badass.
Infinite Tree: an experimental story^Well, in the upper version, you're right.
In the lower version, he still seems semi-badass.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyIf we do wind up going with Invisible Woman, can we at least merge them into a single image so we don't have them both on one page?

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Well, if we have problems with the first Invisible Girl pic being too wordy, we could always show one of her Damsel in Distress moments.

Since when did "too long" join "has text" as an inexplicable all-purpose image killer? If we're actually going to start enforcing rules like this, we should write down the "no text allowed" business and put an arbitrary image height limit for the Image Uploader. It'd save people from wasting time, at least.

Jet-a-Reeno!When I'm thinking of this trope, the first and most memorable example that comes to my mind is Pop
◊ the Magician
◊ from Dai No Daibouken, who started as a snivelly coward and became by the end one of the most heroic and badass chars of the story.
I currently don't have pics of his coward stage; is a collage from those two pics where he becomes a Wise Man enough to illustrate the trope, or do we really need a coward pic?
"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeIMO, a "coward stage" picture really would be necessary in this case. The final "wise man" image does look pretty decent, but I still have no idea who this guy is (or was.) It'd need a "before" image for contrast.
Jet-a-Reeno!^^ Found some examples of Pop's "coward stage" on good enough quality scans. But I don't know which panels would fit best, your opinion?

Yeah, I know, I was overindulging in hyperbole there. I just get frustrated by people who act like one or two sentences in a page image constitutes a huge, impenetrable Wall of Text.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:

Invisible woman works for me, though it is really long. Simon's certainly not a bad choice either, though, provided we make "after" more readable.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.
