Took a Level in Badass has been getting lots of picture changes. Let's find one we can be happy with staying on that page.

Yanked by Fast Eddie so it's off the table.

Invisible Woman, 2000s. Any questions?

Which was the old one? The one on the right?

The one on the top-left and the one on the right. At the same time.

I kinda like Simon, but the word "After" is really hard to read, and is there really any indication that they're the same guy? He's taken so many levels that he's unrecognizable compared to his original look.

I have a message from another time...

Simon is good, but maybe the "after" should be in black.

I think (if the after becomes legible, thus indicating that it's the same guy) the unrecognizability is good, as it indicates that he's just changed that much.

There was an older one, but was probably deleted, of Sokka from Avatar The Last Airbender, showing him as a goofball in the first season, and then a warrior in the last. Although those admittedly weren't the best screenshots I used.

No, this was a really different picture.

Yeah, the original setup on Took a Level in Badass was the two Invisible Woman pictures, just on opposite sides of the page. That's avoided because it looks like shit.

Both image suggestions are pretty good, though the first Invisible Woman one is a bit text-heavy.

We could get something good out of 21 from The Venture Brothers as well, since he took a pretty hefty level in badass in season 4.

Actually, Fast Eddie pulled invisible woman, so it's off the table.

At least that one, since it didn't really show the trope at all.

Just make "After" black. Can't really get any better than the Simon pic, for reasons already mentioned.

I like the Simon one. I also liked the old Sokka one before it got replaced. I'd add in the caption "A time skip sure makes a difference" or something to that effect to indicate it's the same character.

I thought the Sokka image was on somewhere that had to do with becoming stronger as seasons go by.

[up][up] It looks more "any level up whatsoever" rather than a seasonal thing though.

Can't we just paste the two invisible woman pics together, with the caption "Top: Invisible girl. Bottom: Invisible woman." ? Or would that be way too big? Fast Eddie zapped it because its the opposite sides of the page thing, not because its a bad image.

According to the edit reason Fast Eddie left, it was "did not illustrate the trope".

I also like the Simon one. All it really needs is a caption to the effect of "26 episodes later" and maybe a quick edit to make "After" legible.

Guess who, it's Kaosubaloo!

I put it back. I didn't notice the second image, first time through, the one that makes it work.

...But most of us agreed that the Invisible Woman ones were bad.

I think.

At any rate, I prefer Simon.
