As someone who played Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, I can tell you that it's a fun distraction. Since it's free and easy-to-start, there's no issue with checking it out if you want to. And I'd argue that the microtransactions are very friendly here, they're only there if you want things to go faster, but there's no penalty with taking your time if you want to invest your time in the game.

I find it interesting the way they tried to make it cinematic like with the temple filling with sand and the "last minute" rescue by waddle dee. Like, if they could remake the game and add in actual cinematic cutscenes for stuff like that that would be cool.

Absolutely not on that last part. Things like that happening directly within the gameplay is what makes it fun and charming. Turning everything into an animated cutscene would kill that.
