How about this? An attempt to cheer up via kick to the back of the head.
That works. It certainly relies on less text than the current one (four line caption to explain it? Really?)
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyThere is also these which shows them fighting and but shows a tiny bit of friendship in there although it gets a tiny bit raunchy with the "Low Blow" in the first one. (which I think is the best)
The second pic would probably work better under Vitriolic Best Buds though. which is pictureless ATM too.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Pulled. I've pulled at least two iCarly images in the last week, is there somebody trying to pimp the series out there?

I dont see what is the problem with manga but I guess we can flip it?
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!The first image you posted lacks both that problem and the text-heaviness. Of the ones posted so far, it's definitely the best.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyThere's also this.
◊ My only fear is that once it's shrunk to wiki-size, the text will be unreadable. Maybe with some Photoshoppery...
Edit: Ta-da!

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Far, far too much text. I'd say either your first one or the Batman one are both great for the trope.
Infinite Tree: an experimental story

To put it simply, the caption is necessary to tell us: that she broke the tennis racket on him (and I had to squint to find the racket in the first place when I first saw it) because he's not even reacting to being hit in that shot, and that they're friends in the first place.
It's not a great sign when the entire caption is a long explanation of what the picture is.
