Go browse the armor sets in the collection tab and see what catches your eye. It'll tell you where they drop too
Alright uhhhhh the Sanguine Alchemy chest armor, Nezarec's Skin helmet, the Transversive Steps leg armor, & the Sunbracers gauntlets.
For guns..... I guess the Sweet Buisness.
Aren't these really rare drops?

Exoctics are exotics so yeah.
And remember you only get to wear one exotic armor piece and wield one exotic weapon at a time.
I should look up Legendary's too then.
Yeah, Iíd love to do a raid with you guys.
Alright Legendary outfits that look cool......
I'll state the sets: Gensym Knight suit, the Yuga Sundown suit, the Heiro Camo suit or the Philomath suit.
I know I just jumped in last page, but a troper raid sounds fun. I am on PC, though. I've been trying to get my brothers involved there, and so I actually feel comfortable explaining the first three raids (Leviathan, Eater of Worlds, Spire of Stars) to newcomers.
^ I'm fond of most of the Iron Banner sets, though it requires PVP. Dreaming City sets are also some of the sharpest looking ones in the game.

For now I (Fate Seraph on the discord) think Iím gonna wait until Shadowkeep to get back in, but once I do Iím down for a raid if we can make it work - at present my schedule for next semester leaves me most open on Tuesdays and Thursdays (and weekend of course) but that could change if I find a decent part time job to throw in on top of a full course load.
Technically I could get back in now during the summer, but I have to finish/delete other stuff off my PS 4 to make room and havenít played since right around when Black Armory went live (didnít want to pay for that until we knew what all the pass would entail).

I also liked raiding with you guys, even if it meant I had to stay up until 2am to even start (and even if we'd arranged for an earlier time, someone was always late), and even though y'all shoulda listened to me when I said not to try that exploit :P

I'm open pretty much any night.
We need more tropers in the Discord anyway.
I'm in it, but I'm not active, and I have it muted. I don't really want to get alerts there about a game I'm not actually playing.
There's a Troper Destiny Discord channel? How do I get a link? =D
Okay anyone know where I can easily farm cool looking gear?
Cause I'm pissed that despite getting a cool looking exotic helmet for finishing Warmind I had to immediately switch it for a shitty looking rare helmet.

That depends on what class you're playing. :P
Most of the new gear can show up as just random world drops, though.
I'm there. :D
Yay, everyone who wants to join is free to.
We've got a few other channels besides Destiny and it's pretty chill there.
I jumped on too.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is soon due to release on Steam on October 1st, and if I'm hearing this correctly it's apparently going to include ALL of the previous content - including Forsaken (which is also going to include the seasonal content). And given that the pre-order pack is just $34.99 USD... yeah, that price is a steal, especially if you're a newcomer to the series.
Yeah, cuz the game also goes free-to-play on that date.
That's not quite accurate. Shadowkeep only includes its own campaign, exotics, exotic quests, raid, and dungeon (plus an unlock for whatever season you purchased it in), and Forsaken is still separate and includes basically the same amount of content from its respective release, plus all Annual Pass content that isn't already free.
That said, once October 1 rolls around, all patrol zones and strikes (including the Dreaming City, apparently!) will be available for free, Gambit goes free, Gambit Prime goes free, Forges go free, Menagerie goes free... Basically, this. I imagine something like 80% of the content in D2 will be available for anyone that downloads the game without having to pay a cent.
Yeah, but everything after Forsaken (Shadowkeep for instance) people will have to pay to get.
So on Day One of Shadowkeep's Steam release... I can't even play. Why? Because I'm player #11239 in queue.
Dammit Bungie, I thought you would've realized how huge your Steam release was!
EDIT: And somehow, things got worse... I got booted for inactivity. And when I log on again...? I'm now #14934 in line. JUST GREAT

I didn't even realize Destiny could have a queue
I don't think this has ever happened before.
I mean, granted, they don't have Activision's servers to take the load off, but still.
