Frequent Red Links has a partial list, but we don't have actual stats.
(We used to, but that tool died a while ago.)
Hold on, we've got a thread. If I can't find it I'll just post it here...
Huh. Thought I had it in my watchlist. Anyways, the trick is to make the redlink, say DV Ds, and then click it. This will get you to the page for it, whereupon you click "Related To" in the top right.
You should now be able to see all places that redlink is listed. We had a whole movement to go and kill a lot of the redlinks going (I and I think a few others killed all the ones in DVDs)

is the thread you were looking for.

This
is probably it then.
Right, I know all those steps. (Check my edit history a few days ago for a bunch of fixes to AoE redlinks.) That's not the problem. The problem is, I don't want to try guessing what might be redlinked. Frequent Red Links is more along the lines of what I was talking about.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Ugh, I do not want to have to go through the MGS# links again. -_-
There used to be a mechanism that actually searched for the most frequent redlinks, on the database level, but I don't think it's been run in a while. Yeah, here it was.
Boooo!

I want to help the wiki still, but since I'm working a lot, I hardly have time to work on works pages or examples. YKTTW is hit-or-miss for me, I only go there if I have an idea for a trope myself anyway. But one thing I realized I can have fun with while being helpful is the mindless tedium of going down a Red Link's "Related to" list and fixing all the links.
Finding a commonly used Red Link, however, is more problematic. Is there a tool in place that does this, or should I head over to Tech Wishlist?
