I thought this image was chosen by Image Pickin' last time? Is it really too long?

I think it is too tall; if the article were longer it might be fine, but it's short.

It really only goes really down if you have a wide screen resolution (which I do, but that's besides the point). Perhaps a couple of components and then a full one that can be clicked?

And after I put so much into making it vertical

I am fine with the long version myself.

I don't think it's too long.

I think that the length of it is part of what makes it work.

I have no problems with the long version, although if other people prefer it, I'm good with the "post a section of the picture and link to the full version" idea.

When you say "post a section", are you talking just a random snip of the image or a cut-down version that keeps the scale but only uses a few examples? The latter, to me, seems to be the better way to go, although it'll take some work.

Most likely, just pick six of them and put them on a smaller scale and then make a "Full list here" caption.

I put it back since most people said it was fine.

Good lord, that's too long. A long image is okay, but not when it stretches across the entire damn page.
