............I don't see it.
Feel free to point out the pun...
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."...so theres a singer whose name named Avril who likes singing about how she doesn't like other people's girlfriend...
...
Anyways, about this show's title, do they ever mean anything?
For example "Blue Roses Bloom in the Cannibal Department Store" sounds really awesome...but the episode had nothing to do with Cannibals in department store, and theres only one blue rose, singular, and it's just a large chunk of sapphire.
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Well they don't eat people, more like sell them to rich people as...servants or slaves I guess. Child labor probably.
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Probably because (a) she's saved his life a couple of times, (b) he kind of feels sorry for her, and (c) we saw from Episode 12 that they both quite enjoy their time together when Victorique's not being cranky (and sometimes when she is).
Besides, we have seen him get thoroughly tired of her shit a couple of times by now, so he doesn't completely wave it off. Seems he just figures that the pros outweight the cons, to which I can only say 'whatever floats your boat, man'.
What's precedent ever done for us?Don't forget, Kujo revealed that he has a blonde fetish in that episode Avril appears in.
Also, what normal straight male can not like this
?
btw, does it sort of seem like Avril might have feelings for Kujo? Or am I just looking too deeply into things?

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."![]()
Speaking as a straight male myself, I'd be too busy screaming and running from the pink-eyed hellbeing she's busy cuddling.
As for Avril, she was pissed that Kazuya didn't realise they were on a date. Yeah, I think it's theoretically possible that she might be interested.

What's precedent ever done for us?So the competition finally meet each other. I wonder how much Victorique heard before leaving. Cecil was a fair distance away and heard it, and Avril wasn't exactly being quite about it, so maybe she heard. On the other hand, it's not like she hasn't figured it out already anyway.
I wonder who the second monster alluded two in the next title is.
This season is great for odd insults. First 'balut', now 'farting lizard'.
Heh...farting newt.
But regarding this episode, what's with the crappy subtitles? Theres a bunch of weird codes such as TM(as in trademark), #, etc....
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Bad conversion from UTF-8, I guess. Avoid the Crunchy Subs release for that episode, it's the one that has the problem. (It's the first one that was out on the grey market, but it was obviously a rush job with no quality control...)

I'm just happy that I may finally be able to make the "Avril doesn't like your girlfriend" joke I've been saving for months at my anime club.
