Right. Has anyone else played Sonic Colors? Either version?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I was dissapointed to learn that they were Nintendo only.
Oh, I guess I should note that I didn't like the Mario & Sonic games that much. Doesn't help that the roster was less than spectacular, mostly that Vector got in(but no other Chaotix) when they could've went with Big instead. Also, Bowser Jr... yeah...
Besides that, the only version I have of Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing is the 360 version. It has two guests, and pretty good gameplay. None of the other versions can boast this, really.
Quest 64 thread360 version has Banjo & Kazooie as well as your Avatar, I.E. your Mii.
Wii has Miis available, but nobody else.(seriously, why not Captain Falcon?)
The DS version's control are spectacular compared to the console versions.
The PS 3 version has absolutely nothing going for it. I completely can say without a doubt that any version other than this one is worth your money.
Well, oddly enough, in the comic version of Sonic X, Big punched Eggman in the nose. Too bad they didn't keep that for the anime.
And despite everything, Big wasn't that bad of a character, especially in Sonic Heroes where he kicked all kinds of ass.

Quest 64 thread...Yet I could still enjoyed it more than Sonic Unleashed, Pies. Probably helps that the cutscenes, narm, and music were much more memorable in Sonic 2006. About the only part I liked about Sonic Unleashed was its intro. Also, its lack of multiplayer(seriously, are a pallete swapped set of characters to go through seperate levels too much to ask?!) was sad.
I think that's why it got moved the Video Game Discussion instead. Also, it's nice to have a constructive conversation about the games, both good and bad.

Quest 64 threadI'm confused by the thread title and the way the discussion's gone, but whatever. It's not like derails don't happen in other threads here.
I got a question: I'm planning to get Sonic Colors and 4, but is there enough differences between the Wii and the DS versions to warrant getting them both? I plan to get the DS version first (since I'm generally not at home often), and even though I kind of want to buy them both at the same time, I'm debating spending money on the Wii version, which I'll probably just watch on Youtube or something if I don't buy it...
On another note, I've given up finishing Unleashed due to my PS 3 dying and losing my save data, so instead of buying the 360 version, I'm probably going to watch the LP of it by that group that did the "all-nighter" LP of Sonic '06... It'd also help to get some context for the game's music that I've been listening to for the past year.
If you can deal with their constant swearing, go for it. It's a pretty fun game on its own, though. A bit easier in some areas, though the Wii version actually plays pretty well, despite the lack of day levels.(but no Tails Plane missions)
Quest 64 threadMore or less badly implemented. Seriously, why does the Werehog feel literally weaker than regular Sonic? I mean, come on!
Most would've had rather have Knuckles playable instead. Which means you could play as the classic trio in the 360 and PS 3 versions. I forget if the PS 3 version has the Tails Plane missions, though. But yeah.
I mean, it had great moments and all, but it's not terribly fun. The day missions... are just more or less speed with little to no reasonable platforming. And some of them feel like a slow variation of the Mach Speed sections, to the point of relying more on the Boost instead of something that matters. Like Skill.
Quest 64 threadI know Unleashed was fun, but I'm really not looking forward to redoing all those missions, long night areas, and short but sometimes really annoying day stages again. The last area I had gotten to was the first night stage of Jungle Joyride.
Music-wise I prefer Unleashed over 06, but this mostly because I've listened to 06's music so much until Unleashed. And I didn't mind the Werehog really, but I really think it would have been better suited for Knuckles *.
The only thing I didn't like about Chronicles was the 'music' and the character models.
I've liked every Sonic game I've played so far EXCEPT the first Olympic game. I really want to play X-treme, another Sonic the Fighters, and Chaotix. Most disappointing game: either Riders or Heroes. I like Big too ^^ but Vector's my favorite. (and I also like Chris and Danny and the Freedom Fighters... and Shade and Blaze)
- is thrown tomatoes*
Seriously, I don't understand why so many people dislike these characters. I welcome them into whatever Sonic game Sega is willing to stick them into. Also, they should bring back canceled concepts; the fans have been clamoring for these to return.
(and Bowser Jr. was the only character I anticipated to appear besides scrapped DK on Mario's side)
Now posting as Enzeru, this serves as an emergency avatar backup account

I almost thought you meant Sonic The Hedgehog GENESIS, Aondeug. Yeah, it was fun, though the Original Generation wasn't nearly as good.
I loved Zuiki though. Narsha was horrible for me(since I couldn't keep her from falling, and that was on the first playthrough!) and I didn't play much of Mawlock. Besides that, though...
Also, Kiwi is my favorite Shining Force II character. Hell, I even named him Bowser. Anyway, let's keep it to Sonic games. Sorry about going offtopic.
