Does anyone know how to make a crowner?

Crowner's up.

And, after going through all of these, I have to say...they're all pretty bad.

Though I have a really great one in mind; gimme a sec to put it together.

Here we go; I combined one of Luffy's stupidest moments with one of his most Badass.

Added them to the crowner.

Vote away, people.

The first part of the Luffy pic looks more like "typical exaggerated visual style" than "moron" to me.

He has sticks up his nose jamming into his lips.

This stupid enough?

All right, I think this perfectly encapsulates both "idiot" and "badass".

Or would it be better with the second frame of this? I'm wondering which angle suits it better; the former has him facing the camera in both frames, but the latter is a more dynamic shot.

At any rate, I added both to the crowner.

[up] Eh, he's got such a serious look on his face that he looks like he's trying to stop his nose from bleeding more than picking it.

I guess you could make that argument, but the look in his eyes in the latter pan downplays any "seriousness" the first one has.

It just looks like serious, and the more serious. It's got the badass, but it's missing the moron bit.

I just took the first pic as the contrast of him looking serious but picking his nose; it just makes him look that much sillier.

[up][up] I don't know how nose-picking can be taken seriously.

Besides, it's much better than some of the other ones. With Sokka, he's just...smiling.

Here are some other possible Luffy "moron" examples from the earlier scene. Either of these work?

Not sure how completely "Bad Ass" this is but what about Homer Simpson?

Moronic/ Bad Ass

or, perhaps even better, Maggie Simpson:

Cute Baby to Bad Ass we could also try to crop this one

Oh I like Homer: more focus on the "moron", which is harder to convey. I think the shotgun-wielding looks plenty badass. Or maybe a better frame?

Eh; while Homer definitely covers the "moron" portion, I'm not sure on the badass. I mean yeah, okay, he's holding a gun there. But he's not badass that often.

What the hell is Luffy doing with the chopsticks? o.o

Sanji might also be an example if we can find anything good, although he doesn't really act as goofy as Luffy.

[up][up]The trope only needs to be apparent in the image. Whether the character is an example or not isn't that necessary.

It's still a bad idea to use an image of a character on a trope where it doesn't consistently apply. That's why the poster from The Man Who Laughs was taken off of Slasher Smile.
