The game's full name is Puella Magi Madoka Magica Gaiden. As of the name Magia Record, spoiler alert from Madokami event and sidestory; Madokami see various timeline as vinyl records that she plays to see what's inside. Magia in the name likely because the Kamihama magical girls decide to call themselves Magia Union after the conclusion of the Part 1.

Because then you couldn't have anime girls shout MAGIA... RECORDO!! whenever you open the game in the break room and forgot to mute your phone
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.BTW is it just me, or is Tsuruno sharper than the sharpies than she appears?
Yeah, Tsuruno comes across as kind of an airhead given how she's aggressively cheerful and likes to yell about being THE MIGHTIEST MAGICAL GIRL, but she's definitely not dumb. She low-key outsmarts other characters more than once.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Tsuruno's claims of being the mightiest aren't a completely idle boast either. Before she met Yachiyo she was infamous for challenging magical girls across Kamihama to duels, and she was undefeated. I think it's implied that at one point she took on Momoko's whole group at once and won.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.I see. Anyway I'm considering doing Ch.5 next weekend since I've decided to do the chapters on a weekly basis, but my luck with the bosses is dismal enough that I'm considering waiting a bit longer than that deepening on how ofthen I have to fight a boss over the chapter (and how strong they are compared to Commoner's Horse, or the Amanes).
Basically I want to ask how many boss stages are in Chapter 5?
Edited by MorningStar1337 on Sep 8th 2019 at 6:21:07 AM
You fight Ai-chan then Alina that will immediately fires her Doppel. Most of the stage are against Ai-chan's familiars.
Anything with Ai-chan is cancer, because they like to spam curse and the event that would give us curse resist memoria got delayed to October. Other than that, there isn't that much cheap stages, but they still got significance boost of general strength.

With the way that's worded, that only means there's one boss. that seems far more easier compared to the Amane boss rush that is 4-5 (one fight of which pulled a similar stunt, being a proper intro to Doppels and all).
Are there any other bosses besides the Alina/Ai-chan tag-team? Chapter 4 also had a Witch in addition to the Rhyton Rumor and the multiple Amane fights.
Actually you fight the Amane (twice, I think) in the middle of the chapter, but they're not that difficult because no chance for Doppel. Goes against curse spam familiars for stages, Alina's Doppel (after curse spam familiars, of course), then Ai-chan's boss fight after waves of curse spam. The witch Alina sicced on us got off-screened by Felicia.
Chapter 6 is against just about every elemental Black Feathers.

Yeah now that I think about the Amane were the 2nd easiest of 4's bosses (as long as I remember to Shoot the Medic First)
The Amane sisters are bascly Team Rocket
Weight of the World (GBVS)Yeah I think I've seen the comparison made before. Now then are there any youtube channels that dealwith Madoka/Magia Record lore/theories, news, or in the latter case gameplay?
Even Alina's a pushover if you have Mami. Bind OP.
Oissu!Should I watch this show?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. No
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.Depends. How much do you like soul-gnarling heartache?
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?BTW, Magia record's JP servers is getting some new stuff a new arc with raid bosses, a FFXII-like system and 5 new mahous.
For the NA version we get...A Dub Name Changenote for Tart (and her event of course).
With that out of the way. the more Ithink about it, the more I notice that MR's timeline might be the most successful after the Madokami one, since Madoka was able to live long enough to celebrate New year's and Valentines. Not to mention that Wally West Night had apparently been beaten without Madoka dying or transforming.

Maybe?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Just watch the first three episodes. You should get a good impression of the tone and pacing the show will follow from that much.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI agree with that.
Those first three will tell you if you are in or out. But if you are in, prepare you ass.
One Strip! One Strip!Honestly, the best part of Madoka for me was the visuals. The story isn't bad by any means, but I found the early part frustrating, thought the middle part dragged, and didn't think the payoff at the end quite made up for it. But holy crap is the visual design amazing.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Agreed. Give it three episodes, then you'll have everything you need to make a decision from there.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Here we are in the future. Here we are in the Future and it's...in medieval France? This is what I get for not clearing the MS sooner. As apparently The Darc event is suppose be set during Chapter 6. I'm used to the self-imposed Gameplay and Story Segregation at this point, but I'm surprised the devs actually date the events.
One other oddity I noticed is that the scenes aren't voiced acted. the third is that the villain of the pieces summoned Candy! Like Are we expected to fight time-displaced witches in the event?
EDIT: I might be mistaken on the set during Ch.6 thing, considering that Felecia and Sana appeared in the next chapter's intro. I might want to check the introductory cutscene for the event. Its slightly less G&SS than I though (but since I haven't started Ch.5, it still kinda is G&SS from my perspective)
EDIT 2: Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the time-displaced witches.

The Magia Archive official artbook came out recently and as information like official ages and heights for every non-Magius girl up to Riko I think. It also lists their wishes and personal magics, which is nice since even in JP not all of those have come up. Some interesting tidbits:
- Iroha actually also has a dagger that's used for close combat, it's just never really brought up
- Although Ren's is shown being able to talk to ghosts in a couple of events, her personal magic is exorcism. Interestingly, if she kills a Witch with her personal magic, it doesn't drop a Grief Seed.
- Konoha's personal magic is creating illusions with mist. Her being able to provide for Hazuki and Ayame through the stock market is purely her own natural ability.
- Speaking of Hazuki, she's 175cm tall, she's huge.
- Mayu's Doppel, Naomi, is stated to be based on a DNA strand, which apparently helps bring out the "primal instinct" in its targets

Fight for something, even if its meaningless.
Well now I have an avatar for both Madoka and Magia Record
BTW, in addition to my other question about difficulty spikes (which I made in as a result of the Amane Sisters' Boss Rush), Format aside, I must wonder why the game wasn't called "Puella Magi Iroha Magica"?
