Because I don't like doing posts where nigh-all the information is tucked away behind spoilers, has anyone read Tart and/or Suzune Magica? Are they any good?
Edit: And somehow I missed the bit about how you don't have a problem with people not liking the ending and suddenly I feel much less like I need to argue with you.
It was just the bit in your earlier post implying that people who didn't were looking for something to dislike that made me feel ornery.
And even if the world itself is stable, I think "your reality is being run by a self-loathing head case" counts as "less idyllic."

Not to mention Sayaka and Nagisa are trap in our reality where they can be killed while when they were where ever Madoka took them they were immortal. Besides the magical girls that go to that "place" need sometime to recover emotionally from what would have made them kill people as witches and Madoka won't be there for them.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons.Just from glimpsing at it, it looks pretty damn good for a fake video. Am I missing something?
Oh God! Natural light!I gather from the comments that it was actually made and released by Shaft. An official fake video, if you will.
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.
I'm pretty sure it isn't; we know that SHAFT's April Fool's joke is Nisekoi/Bakemonogatari.
Most likely, it's a fan vid.
EDIT: The guy who uploaded this on Nico appears to be one who's made several "Madoka blooper" vids
.

All the character animation, and most of the rest of it, is yanked out of various scenes from the movies and trailers and stuff. The one of Mami shooting at something in a field is from the Mami/Homura battle in Rebellion, they just replaced the background.
It's very impressive (video editing software must be pretty powerful these days...) but you can still kinda tell the characters weren't actually drawn into the scenes. Weird shading and clashing colors and stuff. The dialog sounds stitched together, too.

"No, Kyubey. You are the witches."

Wow, that's actually not bad. Kyouko sounds a bit too old though.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realSpeaking of the English dub, how good is it in general? I only ask because I was hoping to watch the show with my mom (who I introduced to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, which she likes), and I think she'd prefer the English version.
Oh God! Natural light! It's alright, I prefer the sub but the dub is perfectly serviceable. I really like Sayaka's voice and Christina Vee is perfect for Homura although she can be a bit wooden at times.
This video is also pretty funny: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GHsnrHNRRU
That Charlotte gasp at the end was a bit... um...
Pretty good otherwise, though. Sayaka and Kyouko sound very similar, but they're kinda similar characters by this point in the story, after all.
I dunno if this is old news or not, but apparently another spin-off has been announced in the newest Kirara Magica volume.
It's title is Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica [Wraith Arc], it's written by Hanokage (who did the Madoka manga as well as The Different Story), but I assume it would be supervised by the official writers. I think it's safe to assume that it's about the time between the end of the anime and the beginning of Rebellion namely when Homura becomes a witch.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realMadoka being the one to suggest the world destroying bomb is hilarious. I like Homura's idea best, even though I doubt it would work.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Yeah none of them have a chance except Homura's, but Homura's likely wouldn't work because it's designed to kill individuals with individual names.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.

My issue is I'm almost entirely sure Homura's world is unstable. Unlike Madoka who just created one of the laws of the universe by making herself the law of cycles Homura is pretty much the Judeo Christian God, but without any qualms about instantly changing reality to her will. If Homura was at all mentally stable that really wouldn't be an issue but Homura is self-destructive and sucicidally depressed. It already seems like her world is being held together by string, half the fricking moon is missing.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.
