Edit: I was going to make a sarcastic answer to a rhetorical question, but I think that anything I could say here would probably be misinterpreted.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayIllegal immigrants came over willingly and illegally.
Their criminals I don't see that their children should become tools by the parents to be forced into the United States.
Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.So what are the differences between slaves and illegal immigrants?
- Horrible working conditions in menial agricultural jobs? Nope.
- Difficult journey in which many people die? Nope.
- Not able to go to the police or get an education? Nope.
- Widespread prejudice and discrimination? Nope.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayBecause your immigration system is slow, expensive and almost impossible to get through in under 20 years, and as such refugees and people who are on the run get over to you illegally and people who cannot support themselves back home break in to try and do some work to keep themselves afloat.
Also yeah, there are some criminals, unfortunatly what we have here is ordinary people being turned into criminals which is the exact opposite of what the law is supposed to do, which is to take criminals and turn them into ordinary citizens.
Not some criminals, a lot of the movement between the borders involves criminals and most of those coming in are sending money back to the border to the cartels to pay off fees or their families.
A lot of the plight of immigrants is lost on me since my Mother was able to immigrate to the United States from Belgium without much issue.
Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.Really. Criminals coming in to fill a gap in the market that politics prevent the state from helping with. I am in a profound case of shock at this news.
The problem is more that when you can't get into the US LEGALLY you go for the next best option. Unfortunatly this is made up of people who generally have nicknames like "the murderer".

There may be a problem but how the fuck does the illegal part of illegal immigration not register?
Even if I steal medicine for my dieing wife, I am still liable for the fake I stole property.

Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.Irrelevant.
Someone breaking the law does not cause said person to invalidate all of their civil rights-if so, all the rights criminals have against cruel and unusual punishment could be revoked by virtue of having broken the law. The argument "Illegal immigration is illegal!" is a nonsequitur. It doesn't actually answer any of the questions or respond to any arguments.
Not to mention that it's a bad precedent to charge children with the crimes of their fathers.

Except your arguing just as well that being born here is enough to be a citizen.
I don't think that if you're parents are both here illegal that they should be allowed to stay, using your logic, but the child would be.
That seems entirely more messy.
The system isn't corrupt, I'm sure even if we made it easier for people to come here easier it wouldn't stop people from coming here illegally.
The reason why I bring it up is that the law may have issues in some respects but it doesn't protect those who are coming her illegally since they are still, you know, breaking the law. :V

Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.No it doesn't, it was established in United States V. Wong Kim Ark, which never mentioned illegal immigration.
The 14th amendment wasn't applies to these situations until that decision.

Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.Nvm I misunderstood what you're saying.
Look, it says what it says. It says they get citizenship upon birth. Whether it was "meant" to or not is probably irrelevant.
In any event, the case you just cited specifically prohibited a law that would prevent illegal immigrants children from being citizens.

The problem is that the clause needs to be updated to give an answer for the issue of illegal immigration but up until that definitive answer there is no way these bills can exist but I can still maintain that even if the current laws are cumbersome (but not unjust), I can say that anyone in violation, such as illegal immigration, are here illegally.
Part of the issue with illegal immigration is dealing with companies that hire them.
Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.

What, precisely, makes immigrant children any different from slaves, such that the latter being born in the US makes them citizens, whereas the former does not?
