Catchphrases you've accidentally developed

I thought I picked up this as a slang word from my friends but at this point I've been using it even unironically to the point that I'm not certain about that origin anymore. The "word" is:

"Ambik"

How it's pronounced (in my case) is that the "Am" is like the "um" in "umpire". This isn't strict because as how slangs go, things alter from what's depicted off that word from another's tongue. The "k" in the second syllable is not pronounced, rather, the voice is halted in the middle of the vowel. ^. Those who are familiar with the Arabic letter "hamzah" (ء) at the end of a word would understand this better.

I thought it was derived from the Malay word "ambil" which means "take", but that context does not appear to make sense of the way I say this word. How I've seemed to use "ambik" thus far, from what I remember, are replacing other phrases like:

1. Smh (Shaking my head, lyou've gotta be kidding me" or the likewise)
2. Wow
3. (As an indirect reply to something funny I hear)
4. (The likewise would go for hearing something unbelievable.)

This is not a solid list at all because I honestly have no idea what I'm doing with this catchphrase :p

“Then again, aren’t we all?” Used whenever someone points out a minor flaw.

Also around the beginning of quarantine when I was at home a lot more often I developed this habit of calling my mom “Mother,” so I’d say stuff like “Mother, where’s the colander?” One of my neighbors commended me on it but I really wish I could break the habit.

I keep saying "mamma-mia" lately. I don't even know why, it just keeps showing up. Kinda pissing me off tbh.

I've started ending sentences with "lol" lately lol

"What in the fuck"

(Talks while inhaling) "No".

Ending sentences with "in the house" in place of "in here"

"There's an impostor in the house!"

"That was harder than it should have been."

Whenever I have difficulty doing a task that should be simple.

Yo. I dunno why, I just started saying yo one day and it stuck.

"My point still stands." When someone makes a comment in an attempt to disprove my point but doesn't actually prove my point or disproves one point I made but not another.

I always seem to add 'I guess' to whatever I'm saying. Especially when someone compliments me and I say 'Thanks, I guess.' I also say 'Seriously?' a lot.

"Why is this my life?" is something I say whenever I screw up. Which is frequently.

"fair enough" because it just became my default response to all statements in which it was grammatically correct, such as teacher: you have to do homework me: why teacher: because ill fail you if you don't me: fair enough

also, "badumtiss". me and a close friend were messing with google translating short stories and one of em had a rim shot in there, typed as "ba-dum-tss" but it read it as "badumtiss", all one word, and we just started using it as a name for anything funny, so a funny joke would be "pretty badumtiss".

I tend to say "thing" when I don't know how to describe something.

I do basically the same thing but instead I say "That's fair."
