"Well, the person who grew wings was Thea, but I haven't seen her around much since. Also, are you doing okay? You sounded a bit... Off for a moment. Do you need to rest?"
Natalia has a serious look on her face... And then she yawns, ruining that. She then decides to stick the knife back into her pocket.
Something something Arena."Hmm...? I... yeah. I've been a bit tired lately," she said to Natalia, stretching as one who is tired might. "That's really strange, though... I can't think of many reasons why someone would just... sprout wings out of the blue. Well, I can't think of any reasons, actually, but you get the point."
She then heard erin speak up, and her face went from 'slightly tired' to 'deathly alert'. She didn't like being unaware of someone's presence. She went back to 'tired' upon turning to face the source of the voice, and sighed. "I'm not gonna lie, you kind of came the hell out of nowhere there, maybe hit my fight/flight response. What's your name, then, friend?" she said, possibly entirely oblivious to how truly unnerving erin's eyes were.

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousMegan stood up from where she had been seated this whole time, and something seemed very, very wrong about her — she was positively radiating menace. It was like the very air around her was alive and angry. She herself seemed calm, however, which only made what was going on more distressing, as wisps of pale-blue light drifted off of her arms.
"Now, I don't like being crept up on, but not responding to a question is just downright rude. So, I'll ask again — what's your name?" she said, not caring that her cover as just a mostly-normal lady who could do some strange thing with her arm had been dropped. Her scales were dimly visible as her draconic energies were made manifest, but she would be very impressed if anyone actually managed to see them.
She felt a small twinge, something like a pinched nerve, in the back of her mind — the Council wasn't going to be very happy if she had to blow her cover so quickly. She retracted her dragonfear quickly, although a light air of dread could still be felt around her. "Sorry about that. Lost my cool for a bit there!" she said, smiling softly to the others, now ignoring erin.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousMegan gritted her teeth behind her lips and turned back erin. She took a breath to calm herself, and said, "I... I suppose you're right. I apologize for loosing my composure. I'll find some way to make up my... mistake to you," she eventually managed to force herself to say. She didn't like it — not in the slightest — but she could tell that she was definitely out of her depth if her dragonfear didn't even remotely affect this person. Even seasoned warriors normally took a step back when her draconic presence kicked in.
By Bahamut, I hadn't realized how much I needed to let loose with my anger until now... looks like it will have to wait. Like always, she thought, placing a finger on the pommel of her longsword nonchalantly. This job is going to be the end of me...
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousMegan, looked down at her hand, quickly removing it from the pommel. Perhaps a bit too quickly, as it turns out — her hand snapped away from the metal and straight into the wooden edge of table.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuucking Hell, that hurt. I think I deserved that, somehow," she said after taking a moment to just grimace through the pain of smacking a table. Sanctioned by the council she may have been, but that didn't mean she wasn't as clumsy as everyone else from time to time.

Megan had been, up until this point, looking off into space while she was listening. At the mention of someone having grown wings, she suddenly took on a more serious look, and said, "What." Something seemed different about her voice in the instant, but it would have been difficult to pin down what exactly it was.
She spoke again, though her voice was back to what it had been before. "I... now that's one I've never heard of before. Who was it?"
