I spotted Sara in one bit! :D
I finished Tales of Berseria, and I want to read the main page for it but I'm worried about spoilers for Tales of Zestiria, which I want to play later.
I don't remember the details off the top of my head, but I don't think it spoils that much for Zestiria plot-wise, at least not directly.
...Wait, you meant the work page for Berseria? Yeah, don't read that yet.

Alright, I guess I'll avoid it. Too bad.
And apparently I have to avoid all the pages elating to the work page too, since several were written with the assumption the reader had already played Zestiria.

I admit I have become kind of a 'self-fullfilled' Spoiler Hound in regards to certain games or game franchises. That is, I tell myself 'I will never get to play them due to brand / genre / money issues, so it's okay to watch videos and-or LP's (obviously spoiling myself) since that way at least I can get some enjoyment out of that particular work'. Decision that bites me back when I finally get to play those particular games and I know all its twists and perks already, but I do not regret it one bit.
My enjoyment of the Tales franchise would have been severely limited if I could only look up info, art or tips about games I have completed myself. This is the magic of the Internet era! That, and playing a game weeeeell after its hype dies down allows you to face them with a fresh, impressionable mind... like when you were a kid!
In other news: VESPERIA SWITCH: GET!
This little motherbuzzer was sold everywhere I looked! But I finally grabbed one. ('You can't play it until you get a Switch as well'.) Well, geez, thanks Captain Buzzkill.

think I'mma get Vesperia on PS 4 as well. If it goes on sale which I hope is soon.
I'm holding off on it until I'm a bit better with my money. I really want to get it though, so it's frustrating let me tell you.
TBH I'm also kinda holdingoff until I can get the Mega Man X collection too.
I also got into PS Plus, dunno if that'll help much but hey its something.
This is the best kind of lazy.
I never noticed. Gonna have to agree with your "best kind of lazy" assessment.

Eternia as a whole is kinda underrated.
So I hear there are a lot of bugs for the Definitive Edition of Tales of Vesperia.
Have there been any patches yet?
Haven't run into any on my end.
The patches or the bugs?
The bugs. I'm on PC so I'm not sure what to worry about plus I'm using a patch by that one guy who sorted the other games so I think I might be sorted.
I'm on Switch and no bugs yet there.
Speaking of which, can someone explain to me why the characters say "no" or similar whenever the "orange gel" prompt appears? I clicked the right analog stick and Yuri says he can't.
Maybe he's in the middle of a long combo or animation?
Oh so it must be the character who is in idle, not mine. That explains it.
Okay guys, something strange happened.
I was in another city far from home and stumbled upon a second hand shop with a copy of Zestiria PS 4. It had a generic, clear Bluray sleeve with cruddily printed box art tacked on. Well, that's not the weird part: the game disc had no art or logo, but had these words written in SIX different languages...
'Promo use only, not for resale'.
Which leads me to think that at least I got the Europe version of whatever that thing was. So my question is: after a fast Google check I learned that what I bought is a 'promotional' game, a 'reviewer copy' in other words. Supposedly it IS the final, full version of the game, not a demo nor some beta build, AND that it should not have been in a shop because well, 'not for resale' and stuff... so to be clear:
Is it safe to install / play? Is that even legal? I spent 20 bucks on it. Yeah, it's Zestiria... but there are worse things to spend 20 bucks on, and so far Tempest is the only Tales I outright disliked. In addition, a 'reviever copy' disk is uglier, but feels... special. Your thoughts?

Eh, might as well. You never know, you might find something of worth in there that's not in the final
Also another way to see if its likely a Euro copy or.not I'd the age rating label. Check if its either PEGI or the ESRB

I rechecked and it says PEGI-16, so yes, it is the european game. (16? Is Zestiria that... risky? I know Berseria had to modify a certain scene to drop from Mature to Teens...)
Hah, all things considered, I am building up a kind of Tales Series backlog... with Hearts R, Berseria, Vesperia D.E (played it on friend's PS 3, so not in a hurry to start) and now Zesty. I never thought it would happen again!
So the only main Tales I won't have finished after clearing this batch is... Rebirth. Funny.

I see. Well, I dunno if Zesty has anything that's potentially risky. DLC costumes? Edna's dress providing bad upskirt? I'm shrugging here.
Also, I gotta confess: I've grown to like Iria a lot now. In fact there's another big reason. Yeah I used to hate her for being a bully but then I met that fucking awful thing Bakugo and I realized...
Iria could have been a LOT fucking worse. Like, loads fucking worse. Her teasing Luca is almost nothing in comparison to the shit that...thing does.
No one infuriates me the way Anise and Asch do.
Amusingly Beseria was rated 12 by the FSK.
