Let me try that again:
It is a shorter break than Trace had.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Heh: for normal print-work, try being addicted to Berserk for a bit... That schedule didn't so much slip, as find an enormous ice-rink for an Olympic-class display of figure skating.
SIU's cool when it comes to updates: if he's late, you know something terrible either happened with his computer or the servers. Or, he needed to work on a story arch for a bit: something I don't mind in the least.

After so much character exposition for the the ones pleading Baam to be his companions, I think it's pretty much a Foregone Conclusion that they will join him.
No, really, S.I.U's blog at least confirms Yeon as being part of Baam's group already.
Why not? If he has the power to keep everyone in line (and he does), why wouldn't he bring the people best suited to go "up" (note I did not say "most powerfull") with him?
Also, it would be iteresting to see the interactions in the team and everyone learn something.
Because I don't like the spoiled kid, although I don't really care if the demon hand guy joins although he seems boring right now.
I wonder how the Ranker will force Baam to make a team. It won't be just beating him up...
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.I'm not going to take bets on who else. The old Baam? Yes, I'd have ideas. But, he's not quite as magnetic in the same ways he used to be... for some unknown reason.
Also, call me overly suspicious, but I think we have also been served some herring along the way. I'm just not quite sure which character/s.
Also, minor Fridge Brilliance: I was thinking, before this chapter, that is weird that the test just passed the 8 strongest people, given the emphasis on teamwork elsewhere. What was the point in having skills beyond Shinsoo manipulation if they were just going to pull this stuff, I was wondering.
And then I saw this chapter, and I understood.
It's not the strongest people. It's the team that contains the strongest person.

I also just realised something I should have earlier: this test makes damn sure every team (that is, even if they were a team) that passes this stage has a strong enough Wave Controller/s to survive. Which they might not otherwise have had before, seeing as they are have the lowest proportion of trainees at the 2nd Floor stage. So: going alone? Not good. Going with a lot of people, but no decent Wave Controller with a clue to the job? Not good.
Says a lot for next set of floors, doesn't it?

Hmm... too add on to that Fridge Logic: It is the strongest wave controller who picks the team. That means that person will likely be put in a leadership roll and held responsible for how well the team as a whole does.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Yeah, but this is setting up Baam to be the official leader of this group, even if someone elce makes the plans.
Hmm... I have another idea, but I would have to go back and read the differences between the "classes" again. I seem to recall the Light class needing a lot of Shinsoo controll ability as well. Just a more specialized version of it.

He took a short break just after Baam "dies" at the end of floor 2.
I say "short" because it is a whole lot shorter than the break Trace went on.
