Say, how far up does this person's authority go? For some generic historical Chinese terms, you might want to consider:
- Censor (檢查員, jianchayuan)
- Incorrupt (the full term, 孝廉, xiaolian, literally means "filial and incorrupt" and served as a normative criterion for imperial civil servants in general)
- Grand Preceptor (太傅, taishi, this was a Zhou-era term and I have no idea what they actually did but it sounds cool, so)
Name for a supervillain who looks roughly like
◊ this?
◊
The character concept is that he's basically a nazi version of Captain America, with all that entails. He's also a propaganda character though, so the name shouldn't be overtly evil-sounding.
~*bleh*~The Nazis were big on Teutonic Knights imagery, so maybe "der Schwertbruder" or "der Ritterbruder"? Or maybe "der Stahlhelm": the iconic German helmet of the World Wars was partly inspired by the medieval sallet, after all. Substitute the article with a military rank of your choice for maximum Cap parallels.

One day, we will read his name in the news and cheer.
Just to make sure (thinking), you want a name for this guy that can be said and used by children of all ages, as well?
(Captain America expy, that is the symbol of the country and basically a figure that is meant to appeal in a positive light to youths and children, which would require the name to be both catchy and easy to say.)
In that case, I would suggest something with "Sun"(in german) in it, since that would be easy to understand for kids and serve as a way to make him similar yet on the polar opposite side of Captain America, who uses night-motifs in the form of the stars and the color blue (night sky-symbols), while this guy uses white and red as his colors (Dawn and cloud symbols.)
Have you ever considered to change the symbol on his chest from the skull/crossbones to a sun instead?

What would be a good name for like a Hidden Elf Village, but for minor deities, but it’s more like a community that the gods visit, to indulge in pleasure and gladiator games?
Try naming it after one of the gods or maybe after their home. Are you using your own pantheon or a real mythology?
What would be an ironic and cheeky name for an American submachine gun during World War I?
The context: The year is 1904, and the main character (naval cadet) and a legendary gunsmith John Browning
start working on a weapon that is insanely cheap and easy to manufacture due to using only stamped metal parts, and extremely effective in close combat due to high rate of fire.
The resulting gun is basically an inferior version of a real-life Soviet Union submachine gun
and is put to use by American forces during the WWI.
What should be this gun be called? I want a name that is the most ironic, cheeky, and also 'Murican possible. Bonus points if the initial also happens be "PPS." The name I'm going with at the moment:
Browning Augmented Pistol, aka 'The Liberty Gun.'
Alternatively, maybe "Power Pistol Shooter."

Sun? Maybe something like this
?
Though it's kind of hard to draw smallnote , and i don't know how to stylizize it because it's already so simplistic (the best idea i have right now is to ditch the outer circle and make the rays more rune-shaped). Or what, exactly, i'd do with it (location, what color should it be, effect on color scheme, etc).
EDIT: Closest i achieved was this
◊ (8 rays. It's sideways, turn counterclockwise), and it both has no room anymore and looks kind of wonky.

~*bleh*~Though the black sun would definitely be more symbolically fitting.
Nukeli, is this a book you're working on, or...? Because if so, even if you yourself can't draw it, it'll work as long as you can describe it. If you're working on something like a comic though, I can see the problem.

The mental image i get feels really out of place.
![]()
It's supposed to be a comic.
On the other hand, the black sun can look overtly evil (my wonky, rimless version doesn't look much better). Obviously, the character is overtly evil, but he shouldn't look the part because he's supposed to be a Captain America-style propaganda character.

~*bleh*~How about a yellow sun, but instead of triangle spikes, there's swastika bits? So it's basically a swastika with a yellow circle covering the center. He can claim it's a stylized sun.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI don't think you have to reach too far beyond the Black Sun symbol. Yeah, sure, it looks Obviously Evil to us in the 21st century, but that comes from our perspective of those symbols being tainted by Aryan supremacy and genocide in the first place. If you look at actual Nazi propaganda, you'll easily find a lot of imagery like the Black Sun, the Death's Head,
Nordic symbols
or even the Fraktur typeface, that look sinister to us but would've looked glamorous and heroic to their target audience. And hey, it's not like we have a shortage of far-right extremists who still gleefully use those symbols today.

I need a name for a Wutai-flavored The Political Officer. I don’t want to use Commissar, because I want to distance myself from using real-life terms as much as possible, or at least prominent ones in the modern language. Archaic words are fine as well.
