Watching the trailer again, it looks like the Scan Visor is rethemed as another psychic ability—Samus holds her hand out to find a scan target, then does a Pstandard Psychic Pstance while scanning. This may justify how she’s still able to gain knowledge without her ship, since she’s been teleported to the new planet. In the past games, the Scan Visor was consulting her ship’s computers.
The psychic powers are presumably bestowed by that Power Crystal placed on her forehead as a Third Eye. I’m surprised the round crystal on the back of her hand isn’t reshaped to match it.
Yep.
I do wonder if her parenting of Samus will play a role since I can imagine Samus thinking about the time Mother Brain raised her and remember the psychic powers she demonstrated.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I assume they mean "If you want a really good Metroid game, make a really bad Metroid game first so it kicks everyone in the ass and spurs on a much better title next." Pulling the pendulum as hard as you can to one side, even though you hate that side, so that it swings back much harder to the other side.
Not quite a 1:1 with accelerationism, but I think that's what they were going for.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!not necessarily, she already did something like that during the ending of Metroid Prime 2 after defeating Dark Samus for the last time (at around 6:49) :

Treehouse Gameplay preview for Beyond's Switch 2 version.
I was right when I said it looked like the Lamorn had a metroid nucleus inside them. So these new things burrow inside their targets and control them. I'm really not sure how I feel about this. Saying that one metroid imprinted on Sylux partially solves this, I guess. He would have had to kept this information secret from his new pirate friends though, since it's kind of a major plot point that the pirates were never able to actually control the metroids. But here they are. And it has always been implied that a metroid army would be unstoppable, and that Samsu had to stop them before the pirates could utilize them in that manner. All of this is fine if these are just mochtroids, but now I'm not so sure they are. This burrowing inside other organisms and controlling them is... I don't know if I want mochtroids to be able to do that, and I don't want metroids to be easily controlled, so I'm at an impasse. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that this is exactly what Metroid Prime did to the phazon meteor creature on Tallon IV to become the final boss of the original Metroid Prime.

I like how in the Scan for Space Pirates they make it explicit that it's an umbrella term for a whole bunch of different species that take up their banner.
Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite. This isn't the first time we've known that. Ridley and Kraud are obviously very different, but even foot soldier Space Pirates, the ones we see in the Prime games sometimes differ from ones in the 2-d games (though Prime 2 onwards do start having some with crab claws and such)

You are about to enter the courtroom of Judge Scott Percy Francis. The Federation soldiers are real. The cases are real. The missions are final. This is Judge Scott.

I need to know what Accelerationism means in this context.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.
