Given that's who's Catholic? What's wrong with their relationship that would seriously offend the Catholics?

Well, from what I gathered, Frankie's parents are rather strict with her, so something like this wouldn't sit well with them.

Ah.

...how does being Catholic factor into that?

I'm not entirely sure, but that was apparently a factor in the whole thing. I haven't been told the whole story, and of course no offence is meant to any Catholics among us.

I guess we could go... wherever we please.

@Rena Strict Catholics, you say? Yes, it does factor into that. Purity and all that.

See you in a few hours.

Sanity? Why would I need a useless thing like that? Now posting as Motor-Runner.

Ah, strict religious peoples.

Yes, that's a problem. That's why I tend to be more accepting, while still adhering to my faith.

Indeed. We're getting hung up on the not-so-important details. The real important thing is that Penguin ain't feeling great and any PMs with words of comfort or just a consolatory hug would be greatly appreciated.

You're not. At all. However, if you were to send Penguin a PM wishing him the best I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

I'm sorry. I don't know the guy nearly well enough to feel comfortable doing that though.

Every day, I sit down here and see people having problems, and every day I'm powerless to do anything to change things for the better.

It's hard on me... I wonder how long I can take it.

Well, it is hard to do that stuff. I understand more than most. Even with folks I'm good friends with, I find it hard to properly help out with this kind of stuff. I just don't know where to begin. You aren't alone in this feeling is what I'm trying to say.

Just do what you can, laddie. Yes, it can hurt to feel helpless. But if you aren't there to say a few words and build friendships with them, it's a loss for you.

Alright, time to get some sleep. If Penguin or Frankie pop on later, tell them my thoughts are with them, okay?

Paranoia is, by definition, irrational.

I understand why you might feel paranoid. I'm very paranoid socially, due to a long history of social anxiety and being unable to make new friends in physical proximity. Though I long lost track of which fuels which.

Ain't we all. 'Cept I got more baggage to go with it.

On the brighter side, I got a big financial aid check and paid off the university. Now have $1000 to spend on MtG cards.

I have my fair share of baggage which I am ashamed to talk about.

That's good. Wait, how much do MTG cards cost? Surely not that much, even for a whole collection...
