Hmmm, is looking at the edit history that much of a hardship? I usually look at that first rather than scanning the page.
Alphabetizing makes it easier to see if the work you were thinking about adding is already there.
And I've wondering about alphabetizing the page You Keep Using That Word. Because right now it is kind of hard to read.
What do other people think?

I don't recall that we ever arrived at a consensus that alphabetizing works in trope example lists was a workable or desirable solution. We do want to move towards having the work title be the first element of each bullet, to establish consistency in formatting.

Can we have something in the tips given when you edit, which says "Please do not alphabetize the individual series on a trope page. It makes it harder for people to recognize new entries without looking at the history."?
I just noticed "Seinfeld" Is Unfunny was alphabetized.
