• *Handler: Hayate Cooper • *Name: Terrine Halbrough (Erri for short) • *Age: 15

• *Appearance/Background: Terrine is of medium height about 5”6, long messy brown hair that falls to the square of her back and light green eyes. She is of American decent, caucasian, She has a scar on her left forearm when she fell over while at the mall with her parents while she was six, it banged against a display case and got caught on a rough edge. Due to her Trollish nature, an activity she found she enjoyed while watching, a not any longer, friend, by the name of Harry Beaten surf the web a two years before she came to the academy, this hobby led her mother to nickname her “Little Devil”.

After she found a lil’devil outfit she couldn’t resist and wore it everywhere she could. Revealing in the weird looks of passersby.

Though she can be quite annoying and brash, she does strive to be kind and sometimes even helpful towards the people she feels strongly about, though even they aren’t above a small trick or two when she’s in the mood.

Her favourite Branch of magic is offensive, not for the combat ability but just for the large amount of spells that disable other senses, something she enjoys doing if she ever feels the need to escape a situation.

Family Life Terrine is single, with a lot of people being put off with her highly joking and something highly annoying nature. She is staying in West Virginia with a Witch Aunt named Jennifer who sells small charms and magical looking trinkets as a home business to Mundanes and the magical community alike. She usual leaves Terrin on her own, believing that a child should not be smothered to grow up, and as long as she’s not out all night is usually happy not to ask many questions.

Terrine has a younger brother, Sammy, who is four. He’s too young to really understand the whole magic thing and believes she’s just in a private school or a “Cootie factory” as he calls it. Her father, Gregory Halbrough, knows about witches, and was tested by both the Wardens and her Mother’s family to prove he was able to keep the witch thing a secrete; his job is a real estate manager, but he’s fairly new to the position.

Her mother is a stay at home Mum, named Cathy. She likes spending most of her time knitting magic clothes and looking after Sammy. They Halbrough’s live in a small house around the outskirts of New York and they sent Errin over the Brooks pas girl school due to its interesting reputation and the fact her Aunt Jennifer was prepared to help pay for it so that Terrine would go to a “Proper witching school. Unlike those makeshift places they build in the cities!”

Her Greatest secrete is the fact she is actually far more insecure then she feels, this leads to her going quite or withdrawn if people she respects/likes yell at her in real anger too much or tread harshly on her ideas.

The target of the spell is blind for duration of the spell (Lowers the Senses attribute by 1 die type, -2 die to Senses attribute). The target also cannot use her eyes to aim spells and is -4 to rolls that involve eyesight.

I have a bit of a bad grasp of following details so I made http://witchgirls.wikia.com/wiki/TVT about this game.

Am I right in that 4 characters are signed up and joey is the GM? Or did I overlook something?

I was hoping maybe it would be okay to copy the characters' stats to the wikia but wanted to get permission first.

AFAIK at the moment...of the eight witch girls...

  • Calisera and Hexxina (Creepy) are active
  • Terrine and Becky are prologned AFK and gone temp-NPC
  • Emily and Braeburna are forever-NPC
  • Maxyrama and Taco never got made so not even NPC?

Well I'm currently directing an on going campaign for 2013[1]set in Brook Pass's School For Girls, Brooks Pass Virginia. It's coming close to the climax soon I've just been slack with the Christmas and New Year break.

I plan to finish it soon but I'm more than happy to work in new players.

Starting probably beginning of February will be Witch Girls Adventures Year 2. The setting will be Sacré-Cœur Academy in New Orleans, Louisiana. So plenty of opportunities for new players.

(Hiyo. So, this caught my attention. Based on your response to the other guy above, it seemed like it would be acceptable to apply. I'm inclined to say that I'm interested in joining the storyline you suggested would be starting in February. I haven't read through all of the RP you guys have done so far, but I'm not sure it would make sense to jump in at the tail end of a plotline. Unless characters are going to transfer over to the next one...? In which case it probably wouldn't matter, but I really have no idea. Partial Background:

Children are rarely the best people to make life altering decisions. This can be proven no more firmly than in the case of Sari Sullens, and that of her brother. With the passing of their only living relative, most anyone else would have been moved to an orphanage. Children do not necessarily understand this. In a fit of anger and despair, Sari and her brother Lucah ran away, fleeing from the only people who might have helped them.

Cold and alone, filled with grief, the two children made their way through the world, stealing food and money to survive, but freely going wherever they wished as they pleased. It was a cruel contradiction, that for every whim they could fulfill through their own power and theirs alone, the void caused by their deeds, that this wasn’t the right way to live weighed heavily on the children; or at least it did on Sari.

Sari’s brother was always a serious sort. He took responsibility for the two of them, perhaps more than his young shoulders were capable of carrying. He was only a year older than Sari, and far less thoughtful than her. Sari understood the weight her brother brought on himself. At least, she understood that it was heavy, and that it was slowly crushing him. She did the only thing she could think to do to ease that burden. She tried to make him laugh.

The despair and grief never left Sari. Everyone she ever knew or cared for had died, and all she really had was her brother. She hated grief, and she hated despair. She knew their pain all too well, and she never wanted another to suffer the same pain she had. And so a change came over Sari, willed more than manifested. She began to smile. She spoke brightly and adamantly, and always of joyous things. She made it her mission to spread happiness to all those around her.

So then, was it coincidence or fate? Or perhaps some cosmic joke that universe played. Sari was a witch, and the very first manifestations of her power, seemed inclined to render all of her endeavors inept… typically in the most comical fashion possible. Perhaps chance wasn’t all there was to it. More likely, her subconscious mind willed it into being. Long before she had any idea what was happening, Sari had become a failure, and she reveled in the smiles it brought. Nothing ever seemed to go right for her, and yet at the same time, what didn’t go right always seemed to be just what she needed. Most people would be discouraged by failure. Sari made it a laugh.

Eventually, Sari realized that what she possessed really wasn’t merely extraordinary good/bad luck, but actual magic. And when Witches ‘poof’ into being before your eyes and say they want to teach you how to do the same, you don’t say ‘no’…

Oh you took the Jinx heritage! Awesome man you now have given me carte blanche to screw around with you! (don't worry i won't abuse it :P )

Stats seem to all check out, I'll not the sort of to excessively tweak with character creation so don't sweat it.

Witch Girls Adventures Year 2: Sacré-Cœur Academy New Orleans is a totally new Adventure intention to attract new interest so don't worry about reading up The 13th Class logs. It's intended to be a clean slate so to speak.


FYI I house ruled players can swap out both starting Talents for an extra heritage at character creation and added an Old Blood and Half Dragon' to the list of Heritages. Don't change Sari or anything! But I thought I should mention it to everybody.

Old Blood: The Character has little or no mortal blood.
  • Advantage: The character gains +1 to their Magic Die (written Die type +1). They gain +1 to social rolls in magic society and +2 skill pints for Magic Skills only.
  • Disadvantages: Old blood characters tend to be mentally unstable and prone to either melancholy anger or weirdness (or combination or two or all). Their Will Die is lowered by one Die Type.

Half Other Kin Heritage Half Dragon.

While known a savage creatures. Dragons have been know to take the form of human take humans as lovers throughout both mortal and magical history.

Half Dragons tend to have a mixed reaction in witch society. Many traditional and upper class witches look fondly on them, seeing it as a sign of extremely good breeding. While the average witch typically treats them with distrust if not outright and hostility.

Grand Elder Shu-Loa headmistress of the Dragon Stone School in Xanadu Northern China is perhaps the well-known half Dragon in the modern witching world.

  • Advantages:Half Dragons tend to be very forceful and determined and so get are an one extra Dice type on their Will Dice. The also take 2 point less damage from heat and fire and while their cannot fly more than any other witch unaided have an affinity to flight and have +1 to Reflex while in the air. Even if just being, throw, jumping or falling distances greater than 15 feet. They also get +1 to social roles dealing with upper-class traditional witches.

  • 'Disadvantages: Half Dragons get -1 to social rolls dealing with average witches and generally treated with distrust. Some renegade immortals may even considered them valid hunting sport. Half Dragons also tend to have very standoffish and obsessive natures. While not naturally more aggressive than the average witch they will not back down if they feel they have been treated poorly. They are also liable to collect what ever they consider to be 'treasure'. Be it physical things such as Jewelry, C Ds, beanie bears or more abstract concept like having the most online friends or mastering every known kung fu move.

campaign update


Attention students, Summer is drawing to an end and the 13th class Campaign will be finishing soon.

Witch Girls Adventures Year 2: Sacré-Cœur Academy Should start beginning of February. This is a new campaign set in a magic school in New Orleans Louisiana and so new player are welcome. No pre-existing knowledge of the Campaign Setting or Rule System is required.

Those interested in playing please let me know and give me your preferences regarding times and days (include your time zone!).
