That's like a micro-version of how well-to-do Italian ladies shop, actually, from what I've read; one or two designer pieces a year, over the course of a lifetime. It really does add up, especially if you pick stuff with a timeless quality that you know ya look good in.

My wardrobe isn't that flashy, it's mostly just jeans, t shirts and hoodies with the occasional dress.
I want to get more frilly/fashionable clothes, though. I got this awesome fedora, and a really cool T-shirt a few weeks ago ^_^
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.My wardrobe consists mostly of bright, vibrant clothes (or I want it to).
I have a few pinks, and some of my clothes were bought from the women's section at stores.
Yes, I said women's. Mostly hoodies and t-shirts and the like. Because their equivalents in the men's sections are drab, and dull and boring.
It seems that stores think all guys love dark colours.
Dude, I'm metrosexual (i.e. Camp Straight). I can wear that shit.
OH I WANT FRILLY STUFF TOO! I also want more vibrant colours and stuff. I need to swab wardrobes with a tomboy stuck with women's shirts and trousers. Not dresses. I don't do dresses.
My wardrobe has a decent variety of colors (in the shirts, at least), but nothing bright. Shirts consist of pullover T-shirts, button-down T-shirts, and turtleneck sweaters. Pants consist of sweatpants, sweatpants, and more sweatpants. I also have a small selection of semi-nice pants, a vest, and a hoodie, all with basic colors and more pockets than I will ever need.
Day-to-day I wear t-shirts with jeans. Sometimes I even wear shoes.
In a perfect world I'd be all business casual with a plain button-down shirt (the closest to a pattern being pinstripe or something, I don't do bright colors when it comes to business casual) and dress pants, maybe sometimes wearing one of the nice beautifully embroidered tunics from India, however I don't like to get those messed up.

The 5 geek social fallacies. Know them well.Oh, that'd do it.
(*Ponders*)
...Not sure if I can remedy that. :/
Well, taking an old (*Preferably Dark Blue or Black*) trenchcoat and replacing the buttons with ones that are more shiny (*Gold, silver or best of all, brass*) can do the trick.
The 5 geek social fallacies. Know them well.I saw this really, really, really, cute top at H&M (a big-ass fashion store here) in the woman's section, gliterry, with a butterfly and a pony. When I tried it on, you would not have realised that it was for girls. But I didn't get it. It would have cost me £15! (roughly US$25)
What I don't get, is girls can wear guy's clothing and no-one cares. No-one cares if they see a girl in the guy's section. But when it's a guy - and I mean, just looking for hoodies, and shirts, and stuff - there's something wrong with him. Either he's cheating on someone, or he's screwed in the head.

@hopeless:
Well there's your problem.
Dress shirts come in all colors. Pink is actually one of the easier solids to find on the rack after white, off-whites, and blues. Then start wearing ties
. Colorful trousers are rarer, but you can find light blues and reds in poplin. There's also the classic seersucker suit
.
Take it from a Fag: Seersucker is Bad.
Though pink dress shirts are good.

I'm thinking of a plan to get a new wardrobe for college. Everytime I get my paycheck I'll go to Forever21 and pick out one thing I like, and just buy that. I'll be getting a new piece every two weeks all summer long.
Does that sound good, or dumb?
