Baroque is awesome.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.I own Devil Survivor and Strange Journey, and plan on getting Radiant Historia when it comes out. Pretty neat games. Very ball-busting, but still good games. I actually still have to beat Mem Aleph in Strange Journey. I previewed her to see what I'd be up against and just went kinda slack-jawed when I saw how little damage my attacks did, and how my guys who had served me well throughout the game folded like a house of cards before her.
I own Riviera too, but haven't played it in a good long while. I think I got all the endings. I think that game was actually my first exposure to typical romantic-comedy/Unwanted Harem style anime humor, with accidental perversion and all that. The horrors it must have done to my 15-year-old mind back then. Awesome music though.
I've attempted to emulate Personas 3 and 4 a few times, but gave up because I had no idea what the heck I was doing. One of these days I'll figure out how to work those things.

My Megaman and MegaTen RPG LiveblogsI have only played two of their games (Persona 4 and various iterations of Persona 3) to completion, though I would like to play more. I have Nocturne, a fan favorite apparently, I can hardly play for five minutes at a time myself. I played bits and pieces of Devil Survivor and I would not be opposed to playing more, but I lost access to a DS and now I'm waiting for the 3DS to release before I begin again. I also have Persona 1 on the PSP though I have not had any desire to play that, especially considering how much guide-dang-its it supposedly has concerning your party set up.
Overall I guess I respect Atlus for P4 and P3, which were both excellent games and the best JRPGs I have ever played, but I can not say I love them

I love me some Atlus. Atm, I'm actively playing Riviera The Promised Land and Yggdra Union, but I've played plenty of the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei games, along with Trauma Center Second Opinion and Under the Knife 2, Knights in the Nightmare and Summon Night: Swordcraft Story.
Yggdra Union is very fun, but also very tough. Trauma Center is pretty fun too. As for Megaten, I've played SMT 1, SMT 2, Nocturne, DDS 1, Devil Survivor, Devil Summoner blahblah Soulless Army, Persona 1, 2: IS, 3:FES, 4, and Strange Journey. Of those, I've beaten SMT 1, Devil Survivor, and Persona 1, 3, and 4.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadStill can't wait for Catherine, as if it wasn't obvious by my icon.

Flesh...Blood...WOMAN! You vile creature...I've found Etrian Odyssey to be highly addictive, particularly the third one. Also a big fan of Shin Megami Tensei... I was so thrilled with Strange Journey and Devil Survivor before that, and I'm looking at getting a PSP simply for the Persona 2 remakes.
wow, Im surprised something like that would fly as current events. Who needs wikileaks, you got catherine.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadWell, half the class usually ends up doing whatever's the hottest news story(which right now is wikileaks). I've become known for reporting on upcoming movies, games, animes, after action reports on E3 and Comic Con, and letting people know when an anime has finished its run, and is now available online through Perfectly Legal Means. So now I have informed them of both Atlus and Catherine at once. Go me.
:smug:I'm a proud owner of Knights In The Nightmare, Yggdra Union, and Etrian Odyssey III.
I have beaten Knights In The Nightmare, although I didn't obtain the Staff of Ancardia.
Shutdown sequence initiated.Oh yes, Etrian Odyssey. I have the second one and I love it, though I've heard the third one's really good.
Also just got Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier, which they published, and I am loving that game as well.

Chances are, I'm not actually wearing any pants right now.Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga, and Persona series are my favorite. These games are quite difficult, but a challenging game always earns a plus in my book. These games really make you strategize and earn your fun, and when you beat them, it actually feels very rewarding. Plus, they are absolutely amazing!

Shutdown sequence initiated.

Mega Ten, Heaven series, etc. Discuss! I suppose we can start on your favorites?
Hmm...mine would be either Ygddra Union or Riviera The Promised Land. Probably Ygddra, for the tactics gameplay. Like Fire Emblem, but a more fun story, and cooler combat.
