I don't know if this is something you can share, but...in general, is the actual banny thing liable to turn up more or fewer accounts than the mod's IP checker?

By the way, folks. The tool that Bobby G is using not the method the automatic detection system uses. His is a lot less sensitive and only uses one method — IP sharing.

Of course, being more sensitive doesn't necessarily mean that it'll turn up more false positives, but...

The delete button isn't working. It says it must be used from within the TV Tropes system.

I deleted all the TV Tropes cookies, could that be why?

Well, I asked because the list Bobby sent me did include a couple false positives, apparently based on IPs. I'm hoping the actual tool can weed those out.

I only have one sockpuppet, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if I show up on the same IP as Iverum and likely some others I don't know about.

Is it now admin-endorsed to create less than ten sockpuppets? Because I'd never created any because I didn't want to edge on the rules but now I just might.

Alright, it's gonna me forever if I don't ask. I've listed out 10 of my sockpuppets but can't figure out what the other two are. (I've deleted four, so I should be safe, but I wanna know how much of a margin I have—all my socks are RP-related) I would suspect a case of IP-sharing but I doubt it as my home connection very rarely changes I Ps.

So, that said: can I get a list of my accounts in pm?

Sockpuppets are frowned upon in general, but the staff does understand that there are legitimate uses for them, so as long as you only make ones that are obviously sockpuppets . . .

It doesn't. An account is an account, one, no matter how many IPs are associated with it.

Would a mod mind sending me a list of any puppets I might have. I think I created one, but I can't remember the name I used.
