The Last Smash-Dedicated Presentation
is on December 15th, 2 PM PST. It makes me wonder if ballot characters would need further clarification in Miiverse posts if this presentation isn't enough.
I suppose there's always other directs as well...

Well, here's hoping that they reveal something big during this last Smash presentation.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I just hope it's full of content.
If this is going to be the last one, I want it to last.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIf this is going to be the last Smash direct ever, chances are that they're going to reveal all the remaining characters (however many that is).
You know, I really don't know what to expect. At this point the sky's pretty much the limit with characters and stages.
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"They're adding tripping to Smash 4. SAKURAIIIII!
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.New Death Battle Smash Direct Game FAQ Best game ever Look at all the salt I have to deal with.
You Can't Give It Up!! [[Phash Slash 1001@gmail.com]] http://corecrush112.tumblr.comThe direct will be during my second day of professional practice. Unless I can get back home and set myself up in less than half an hour I'll most likely miss it. Damn you preparation for my future! I shall shake my fist at you in righteous rage!
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."I just realized how much of a powder keg this could potentially be.
Infighting between fans of one character and fans of others is already off the charts. If the roster is locked in permanently after this next update... (shudder)
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerWill there be a next iteration, though?
The roster's so large that an obscene amount of cuts next time around is inevitable. And I don't want to play a Smash game that cuts too many characters.
And if someone says "NX", I will punch them through the monitor.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerNintendo has given themselves some wiggle room. Sure, they announced that this is the last Smash-focused Direct. But they never announced that this is the last update for Smash. Sure, it might be, but they could just as easily say that they'll do further updates on a more scaled-back format.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I don't really know enough about the NX to speculate (though I do have an idea), but as for characters being cut, I'm not sure about that. It seems to me like they built Smash 4 to last. They went all out to make it as polished as they could and even gave it an exceedingly neutral name that says "this is the Super Smash Bros". Now this could easily mean that there just won't be another, but I think what's more likely is that they built the game as a solid foundation for the future. It will survive for quite a while with DLC (balance patches and such might still be coming), and I wouldn't be surprised if they had engineered the engine, character models and everything else in such a way that it would be easy to just take them and upgrade them for any future releases.
So I think there will be another Smash Bros for a later console, but they won't have to build everything from scratch again and instead work on refining what they already have.

Gamecube controllers aren't that expensive, plus Christmas is coming.
Not sure on Memory Cards but it's been years since I needed to buy a new GC memory card.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
