Sonic Battle is a 3D platform fighter. At least, it's listed on the Platform Fighter index, and it does have 3D arenas.
Those Nintendo Ninjas probably. They will play dirty to get their way.
I remember seeing a guy from China claim that he worked in a company that produced bootlegs, and said some mysterious men showed up and threatened to burn the place to the ground if they didn't shut everything down. Can't remember where though.
I doubt if Nintendo would do that to a small group of fan developers though.

It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.First of all, I don't hate RoA because it's an indie game.
I just think it's really uninspired. The four elements thing... (sigh) For me to get into something like that, it has to be exceptionally unique in other ways.
I appreciate the mechanics. But the characters are so friggin' bland.
And by the way, Platform Fighter has a page.

Well, okay, sorry for making such an assumption.
Bear in mind, though that the game is still in the alpha stage. They might have things planned that they haven't implemented yet.
"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"I bought it early access a while ago to give it a try and also because Wrastor, so I'll see how it turns out eventually.
I'm just hoping the story's good in the end. I have to get invested in the characters in order to enjoy a fighting game. Otherwise it doesn't catch my interest enough to look past the surface.

Don't really know about this stuff, but it feels like this could backfire on the creators if they really dropped the project to move on to more professional endeavors without legal messes holding them back.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."It is a shame because Project M was probably the most professional (in terms of roster) of the fangames. (I've only played the Super Smash Flash series, but they have characters that have no chance of getting in (Blade, Blue, Mr. Incredible, Inu Yasha, Naruto, Son Goku, and Ichigo), and Crusade has one of them plus characters like Mach Rider, Weegee, Crash Bandicoot, and Klonoa who also very a very small to no chance of getting in)
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
Would you stop putting the rosters of both SSF games in the same breath?! Seriously!
No. While I consider SSF2 to be the better game, I still like SSF1 for its roster. Calm down.
Keep in mind that my very own sig is referencing both games. I tend to combine both rosters for some fun humor in my head.
And speaking of fangames, my friend was asking me when I was going to start making my fangame idea a reality. I told him that it would be very complicated because I'd have to have a dev team to make a quality game like PM or SSF 2. While he said that he'd be a part of the team, I told him that only two people would result in something more like SSF 1. He wants to aim for SSF 2 quality.

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!It's not THAT bad.
Personally, the problem I have with Super Smash Flash is that the last time I looked (And it was LONG LONG LONG ago) the sprite art was kinda terrible. It's almost certainly improved by now, but I haven't seen it.
x3: Well, the devs are trying to downplay the anime characters in 2 as much as they possibly can without removing them outright because everyone's tired of the massive Hatedom it attracts, along with the abysmal reputation 1's roster still gives it as a whole despite most of those getting cut.
I'd appreciate if you didn't keep helping it hang onto its bad publicity.
It's getting there in terms of sprite quality. It's not complete yet, though — they're trying to redo sprites slowly; it took about a year to revamp Peach for the upcoming demo, and there's still several characters left to do.
Everyone's pretty sure the Sonic characters, Wario, and Lloyd are due for a resprite and will probably be next.

Ah, I hear ya. I'm just talking about the series in general.
Also, My sig is really just a harmless joke.
I admittedly don't mind the anime characters or really having a lot of them.
Also, again, where else am I really gonna get any discussion over Smash Flash? I only have one friend to really talk about both those games to, and all threads about the games have died out. And part of this is because I've been playing both games a lot recently (2 more than 1). Plus, what is wrong with discussing fangames? Or am I just repeating myself a lot?

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

I mean just look at all the Follow the Leader examples it's had over the years.
Digimon Rumble Arena 1 & 2
Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion
Playstation All Stars Battle Royale
TMNT Smash Up
D.O.N Battle Arena
And that's just a few off the top of my head.
What would we call this genre anyway? Platform Fighter? Or I guess PARTY Fighter for those good ol' "Smash is a Party game" arguments.
