Yeah. Like I keep saying: even as a part of Metroid's Hatedom, I look at Pyrosphere and go "what the hell, Sakurai?"

Notice how nobody else implied that 100% of the internet was required to be in full agreement.
I'm positive that people even griped about Luigi back in '99. This fandom is one of the most tense there is.
...now that I think about it, I actually would like to see some really, really old discussions on the topic of rosters from 99/00. I don't think the Internet Archive goes back that far, though, and even if it does, how do I pinpoint where those discussions would be? Message boards weren't that much of a thing yet, and Usenet was on an entirely different line.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerShantae and/or Shovel Knight would be expected, but at the same time suprising. They have some things going for them, but at the same time have plenty things against them.
Speaking of, I recently got Pirate's Curse and am loving it. Playing it myself, I agree that there is some good moveset potential.

Is there one of those for Dragon Ball?
I've been thinking on making Shantae my avatar for a while, but I think Konk's just set that back a while.
Though I need to play more of Pirate's Curse and probably should download the original. Though I don't know how I'd be able to play Risky's Revenge since I lack a D Si.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!D Siware is available on the eShop, at least for certain titles.
The original is only worth it if you want to experience the series's roots. Otherwise it really isn't the best experience imo.
But don't let that deter you, it's still fun, but the gameboy color's limitations are super apparent when playing the game, and frustratingly so.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-Mae@Geist: That reminds me of an archived thread I came across from back when Ocarina Of Time was just being released. It is freaking hilarious how little things have changed. I need to try to find that.
EDIT: Okay, the page is apparently not up anymore, but there were two important points:
- Everyone in the thread was incredibly pissed off that Mario had a cameo in Oot
- They thought that Smash Bros. was going to be a complete disaster

Reaction Image RepositorySadly Black Friday ate DEEP into my funds for the year, so sale or no Shantae isn't happening...
On the plus side. I saved $50-$100 bucks by finding the LAST Smash/Splatoon Wii-U bundle at Walmart. But I can't open it for a while
People were pissed there was a Mario cameo? Really? Link and Samus already had cameos in a Mario game at that point! (Super Mario RPG)
Silly people

I hope the new characters are indeed surprises. I loved Ryu and Cloud and hope that they can wow me again with another character I'd never thought to see in Smash.
One thing that impresses me is that companies that used to have bad blood with Nintendo now allow their characters to be used in Smash. It's like a show of respect or something.
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth!

So, something nobody can actually agree on, then?
