Sega: I'd say that Knuckles would be fairly likely. Eggman would take some finagling with his massive number of robots to work.
Namco: Lloyd. Most well known character from the Tales games on GCN/Wii.
Capcom: I have no idea. Phoenix Wright?
Konami: Simon Belmont. This isn't 90s Nintendo anymore, necromancy and the like is not an issue. But this is still Konami, so there's a completely different set of barriers there.
Ubisoft: Rayman, there's no other options.
Square Enix: Probably another FF character. It would be extremely unlikely for them to get two from the start though.
Sega: I'd be okay with Tails, though I'd be happy to see Knuckles or Eggman make the cut.
Namco: I can't really think if anyone else who could make it in other than Lloyd.
Capcom: It would be really cool if Phoenix Wright got in. It's not like he hasn't been in a fighting game before, anyway.note
Konami: Bomberman, Bomberman, Bomberman, though that's if we go by Hudson Soft which was unlucky enough to wind up in Konami's hands. Other than that, I could see Simon gelling well with Smash.
Ubisoft: Rayman, for reasons that have already been stated.
Square Enix: Nintendo would have to jump through too many hoops to get Sora in the game, so it probably would be another FF character, if not Geno.

"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"32_Footsteps: I'd be all for it. FF 9 is dreadfully underrepresented as far as FFs go.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaOh, I forgot that Konami had acquired Hudson. Yeah, Bomberman would make total sense... for that matter, Master Huggins would too, though he'd be an Ice Climbers-level inclusion.
Since going to acquisitions is fair game, we could always note that Square Enix acquired Taito some time ago. It'd be funny to see a squad of Space Invaders take the field, though, I feel like that might play too much like Olimar or maybe Rosalina. Something from Arkanoid could somehow get pulled out, but what? DoH was too basic (though he'd make for an interesting final smash), and I have no idea how Vaus would even play.
That all said, Bub from Bubble Bobble would be a very interesting choice, possibly using some of the bubble effects as attacks or summoning some of his enemies for attacks. Or possibly pulling out moves from Rainbow Islands and Parasol Stars. And Baron von Blubba could be his final smash.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.- Konami: Any combination of Snake (being a Brawl main for me), Simon Belmont (The original Castlevania games being some of my favorite retro games. I'm talking about 1, 3, 4, Rondo of Blood, and Sot N), and Bomberman (being one of my more requested third party characters for Smash, a Smash Flash 2 favorite, and me enjoying 64's multiplayer when I played it)
- Sega: Tails (with a moveset resembling Smash Flash 2's Tails), Knuckles, Shadow, Bayonetta, or Ni GH Ts
- Namco: Either Lloyd, Nightmare, or Klonoa
- Square-Enix: Black Mage, Sora, Sepiroth, Terra/Kefka, or Geno
Hmm, the only other Ubisoft characters I could see being in Smash other than Rayman would be the eponymous Prince of Persia (which, I gotta say, would be a pleasant surprise) or the Rabbids (which would cause the fanbase to completely implode.)

"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"Shadow could be cool, just so long as he is a complete Sonic clone with no uniqueness whatsoever, especially not any of his Chaos attacks to stand out.

Sega: Alys Bragwin. Sure, she's nowhere near the main character, but she's certainly the most memorable. Keep in mind, it's the only game in the series I've played.
