[up][up]You just reminded me of this one piece of fanart I saw of Samus:

One panel, she's strapped to some machine, saying to Adam (who captured her) that she's "Samus Aran, strong and independent bounty hunter!" Next panel shows her mind controlled and standing naked, saying to Adam "Yes Adam, use of clothing has not been permitted. I shall do everything you say without question."

Incidentally, there's a new Mario And Luigi game coming out, and Paper Mario is in it.

What if Paper Mario was a playable Smash character, or a composite with Doctor Mario somehow? Some fighting games do have multiple versions of their main or most popular character, and I must say, as a Mario non-fan, he seems more deserving of that honor than most.

If Toon Link can have a spot, so should Paper Mario (more so than Doctor Mario anyways).

While I've always liked the Paper Mario games, I wouldn't make him a fighter. Even if the doctor wasn't already in.

He's just so...flat. Like besides literally, he doesn't have much going for him in the way of attacks. He uses a hammer, he can jump on things, but so can Mr. Game and Watch, and he has a lot more variety to him.

I mean, I'm mostly opposed to Smash including multiple incarnations of the same character, but what Paper Mario can and can't do makes him a relatively good choice if I had to pick one. I'd still rather Doc just be the one and only second-slot for one character, though, and that's mostly just because of the unique situation with F.L.U.D.D. and Mario Tornado.

I sure said that!

Yeah, it isn't SFW.

I wouldn't even link to any NSFW fanart. Sorry if it was TMI.

Anyways, what stages would you guys like to see return as DLC?

I'd go for Sector Z, Saffron City, Fourside, Spear Pillar, and Shadow Moses Island if Snake returns

Spear Pillar was great. Saffron City and Fourside were also pretty cool. Star Fox Venom was nice...

[down]Wait, Fountain of Dreams isn't in? That stage was great!

Poke-floats (or 2.0 with more gen 3-6 pokemon mixed in) and Fountain of Dreams, definitely.

I want Frigate Orpheon, Big Blue, HD Fourside would be really pretty, and Sector Z because of how giant that stage is.

It kinda amazes me that Frigate Orpheon was even allowed as a counterpick in Brawl tournaments.

Project M gives him Dead Man's Volley, and lemme tell you, he feels neutered there.
But Ganondorf is a much better character competitively there than in Smash 4.

And I honestly don't see what's wrong with PM Ganondorf in comparison to Smash 4 Ganondorf. He still has the same spacing-based powerhouse brawler gameplay, now with that move he has better recovery, aerial-mixups and ways to deal with projectile users. His down taunt is a much more disrespectful Warlock Punch than Warlock Punch with better range. Several of his moves has been given different animations to make it more brutal looking and unlike in Smash 4, he doesn't have that dumb running animation.

A universal desire for a preferred character to perform well in his/her given environment?

I don't believe that anybody's taking kindly to all of this unrelated backseat commentary, by the way.

We apparently have not been over Ganondorf since clearly we're still under this bizarre illusion that the fanbase as a whole is content with him being consistently pigeonholed into the moveset of a racer from a dead series.
You're right; they're NOT content with it. They ADORE it.

Online's a completely different animal, but literally every person I've talked to OFFline about the subject loves Ganondorf exactly rhe way he is and wouldn't have him any other way.

I still say that, should he still be on break by the time Smash 5 is a thing, Ganondorf should look and act like this in that game.

I sure said that!

I, for one, love Ganondorf's moveset and wouldn't have him any other way or give his moveset to Black Shadow or etc.

Maybe change some animations to be more Ganon-y (i.e. change forward smash to be a two-handed overhead swing, or a darkness-powered palm thrust, or something) but otherwise keep his entire moveset to be the same disrespectful king we know and love.

...except for Volcano Kick. That needs to go, no ifs or whats or buts.

I think that Ganon's moveset does somewhat resemble canon. Though it seems that Project M is closer to canon with his moveset.

I think if Ganondorf was (or is) playable in Smash Flash 2 he would be more like his Project M version. Wario has a different moveset in SSF 2, for instance.

[up][up]Likely, considering SSF2 Wario was directly based on PM Wario. The developers of both are on pretty good terms.
