I created a monster. Custom Lucario with Desperate Specialist, Desperate Immortal, and All-around Trade-off.

Ya know, I still wish amiibo could be used online. That'd be nifty.

Heck, online amiibo tournaments would be quite something.

[up]I raise yours with my Lucario:

  • All-round Tradeoff
  • Desperate Immortal
  • Auto Healing

Fantastic idea in concept: get a bonus that activates at 100% damage and get automatic healing to take you below 100% damage to refresh the bonus. Sorry, but I just tried it and it doesn't work in practice: the bonus only activates once. They thought ahead.

Are there any Poke Ball Pokemon or Assist Trophies you miss? I wish Ho-Oh and its Sacred Fire that does like over 100% was back. I also like Raikou's Spark and it just feels wrong to still have Entei and Suicune in Smash 4, but not Raikou.

[up]Poor Raikou can't catch a break. His fire and water counterparts get all of the movies and focus while Raikou gets diddly squat. On the subject on Poke Ball summons, I miss Bonsly, Unoun, and the Porygon line.

Master Balls aren't comparable to the Legendary Pokemon Event in Melee. That's all I have to say.

I'll admit, the various incomplete sets of grouped Pokemon does kinda bug me.

I sure said that!

[up][up]Giratina, Darkrai, Kyogre, Zoroark, and Keldeo are pretty ridiculous. I consider Arceus, Meloetta, and Genesect alright. However, Lugia's Aeroblast has to be one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen especially in comparison to how obscene Ho-Oh's Sacred Fire was.

Sakurai has this weird thing that he seems to be unaware that wind and water can actually hurt and do damage.

I'm fine with the incomplete sets since it would bloat the selection otherwise.

I miss Groudon, Manaphy, Gulpin, and Weavile.

[up][up]Since no sane real competition would ever allow items and especially not the Assist items, I say bloat the selection all you want, all you'd be doing is making chaotic friendly matches more chaotic.

I sure said that!

Speaking of competitions, I would laugh if the CAD classmate I keep bringing up ends up getting his ass kicked at a real tournament because he can't use items. Of course I'd probably get annoyed at his complaining and if he does end up bashing tourney players for their "no items" rule.

Water can do damage...Greninja's up B and one of Mario's customs already provide. Greninja's attacks in general. Wind doesn't do damage if it's just pushing you in a single direction.

Also, Squirtle's B attack would actually do damage at minimum charge.

Greninja's water swords actually do a lot of damage, his F-Air hurts more than Ike's damage-wise tongue

How do you mean infinite? You can keep his wind jab going, but it uses up durability.

Farore's Wind, Nayru's love, several of Squirtile's attacks back when he was in the series...

I think it's just that some wind and water moves are used more for placement, while fire and electric never are.

Well, these are playable characters we're talking about. I think the original point was about the Poke Ball Pokemon, in which Water and Wind attacks don't do damage.

Lugia's Aeroblast is a Flying type move and Blastoise's Hydro Pump did damage...which looks odd in comparison when Kyogre's Hydro Pump doesn't do any damage.

Well, Greninja's Hydro Pump doesn't do damage either. Perhaps this is just how they chose to represent that move in Smash.
