It's probably the main reason why I'm glad Wavedashing and L-canceling are gone; not because they're competitive, but because they're hazardous to the player's health.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI don't think Sm4sh is as problematic as far as hand issues at least, you don't really need to do a ton of inputs all the time like you do with Melee.
I sometimes watch the guys playing Melee at my local and I look at their controllers and all the inputs they're doing and I immediately go "Yeah, no way I'm playing this."
Well that's good to know. As it is I'm sure the highest level technique I'll be able to pull of is the occasional etching off a landing. Maybe.
Also I was playing For Glory I ran into a guy I thought I'd fought before, about five seconds after I went "Yeah, I think I two stocked you" (Which almost never happens) he SD-d, kinda funny since I usually consider myself the worst Greninja player
I used wiimote + nunchuck back in my Brawl days. The Gamecube controller just didn't feel right to me back then.
It still doesn't, actually. I don't use it a whole lot unless rule of passing lands it in my hands. For Sm4sh, my preference moved on from the wiimotechuck... and onto the gamepad.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanBack in the earlier days of Brawl, I used the GC Controller exclusively. When I got my second Wii thanks to my first Wii not being able to play discs anymore, I used the Wiimote on its side. Now, I use Classic Controller while friends use Wiimote + Nunchuck.
Smash Wii U used to be gamepad only for me until I got the GC controller adapter.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!I used Wiimote+nunchuck for all of Brawl because I never owned a Game Cube and only finally got it with my Smash Wii U bundle.

Well, it's a running joke to tell M 2 K to go to the doctor, which should tell you everything.
