Kirby and Game&Watch were my top boys in Brawl...G&W was the only counter to a good Meta Knight.
Toon Link and Mario were my bottom men.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Meta Knight and Yoshi. This was long before it was decided that the former was broken as all heck (although it was already established that he was top tier), but I didn't really care. I'd been planning on maining Meta Knight from the very start, even though it's a bit tough to get into him now in Smash 4.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Peach and Zelda. Secondaries were all over the place, but included Lucario, Toon Link, Pikachu, Meta Knight, and ROB.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I mained Lucas in Brawl but I also dabbled with Falco, Ness, Peach and Marth.
Also people do get hit by Volcano Kick in high level play
But it's just not something you can count on 99% of the time unless your opponent really isn't paying attention.
Apparently that glitch with Kirby's stone in Pictochat still works...on the left side this time, it doesn't shake the stage though.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. In Brawl I mostly used Pokemon Trainer in pretty much the same manner as Tech Powah. Charizard by itself in 4 never felt like much compensation. I still used Peach as well, while Zamus replaced Sheik for me. Everything else was a toss-up on who I felt like playing for a while, but the Ice Climbers, ROB, and Olimar were constant picks.
Yeah, Charizard feels less like "Pokemon Trainer's Charizard strikes out on his own" and more like "Pokemon Trainer's uniqueness of being a 3-in-1 where taking care of the 3 is key got neutered into just 1",it's not the same, and never will be. Zelda/Sheik and Samus/Zero Suit being separate are great, but losing Red was quite the tragedy for me.
Anyway, you reminded me that I also mained Olimar in Brawl.
(For context, finally played the full version of Smash 3D. The game is super fuckin fun, all the newcomers are cool minus Palutena, and I even think I can go ahead with maining Villager and Mac when I get Smash Wii U.)

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Bowser, Wario, Wolf, and Lucas with a bit of Dedede.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardMy primary Brawl main was Lucario, though I played with the Pokemon Trainer and the Ice Climbers (sob) a lot.
I still play with Lucario often in 4 though my primary mains there are the Villager, Yoshi, and Ness.

"I'm glad I don't wear shoes or else I'd have to always get shoes in two different sizes. ...If you know, you know!"

Ganondorf's Up-Tilt is frame 81, so it takes basically one second and a 1/3 of a second to come out.
It has very niche uses for edgeguarding but Ganondorf has better and safer stuff to throw out in that case, like Up/Back-Air
