Yeah, Disney owns the rights to everything besides the Final Fantasy and The World Ends With You cameos in Kingdom Hearts, and moreover they're an extremely domineering partner in any collaborative work they are a part of. Besides that, there's reason to think Nintendo's still sore over how they handled the movie rights to Super Mario Bros.- There's a reason Nintendo Land is gonna be at Universal Orlando.
I sure said that!I don't think this really warrants being put in the leak thread but I'll spoiler it here just to be safe. (It's not a leak or anything about a specific character, just a possible thing they found while datamining)
Apparently while datamining the new patch, people found out that there are three character slots programmed into the game, and either two or three stage slots. Might be an indication of the ballot DLC stuff. I've heard some interesting theories that we're getting ballot winners from North America, Europe, and Japan instead of just a worldwide winner but we'll see.
"And kung fu is a terrible way to run a company" - alliteratorI hope we have five more downloadable characters left, if only because it'll raise the total roster count to a perfect 60.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. All DLC will add up to 61 characters in total, rustling the jimmies of thousands of internet-definition-OCD people around the world

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Has there been speculation on how significantly this shieldstun increase will change the approach competitive players take to the game?

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."You can't sit in shield for too long now, so mobility and spacing become more crucial than ever in this patch.
This does hurt the heavy characters a lot because they relied on shielding in order to get in on other characters, so Dedede, Ganondorf, Charizard and Bowser are likely among the characters hurt by this patch.
It also means shieldgrabbing is not as potent as before since many attacks are now safer, so characters that rely a lot on their grabs like Luigi and Ness are probably hurt by this change as well.
So... Yeah, it's hard to tell where the meta is gonna head to now. I guess with less reason to stay in shield maybe the meta will become more aggressive?
That does sound like the most reasonable conclusion, yes.
Amazing how one little tweak can bring such a big wave of changes. I bet the guy who found this out was giddy over the anticipation of seeing where the whole thing would go.

There's two possibilities:
