It's pure write-in. That way people can vote for who they truly want, not a predetermined list. It wants actual fan suggestions, not what they think people want, but what they actually want. That's also why they ask for reasons why(which helps make the character suggested more interesting. It could contain moveset ideas, for instance).
Shadow? You should still try. If Lyn won, then they might replace the assist trophy character with someone else, like say, Eirika.
My Deviant Art account. There might be art there. Sometimes.Well, Lyn's AT consists of her preparing and then delivering a single blow, which doesn't really fit Eirika's style with a rapier. As nice as it would be to see some Magvel representation in an AT, I don't think substituting Lyn is the way to do it.

The time before you can perform another action after your shield is hit.
It used to be a really small time in Smash 4, making certain characters super punishable, but they increased it, which means that a lot of moves can be used more safely on shields.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeLow shieldstun means that you can just shield an attack, drop your shield and punish easily. Higher shieldstun means a lot of stronger attacks (all attacks mow, in fact), are a lot safer, as in harder to punish, which makes the game less shield reliant.
They're probably gonna do another patch soon, though. People are finding all sorts of crazy stuff like Lucario locking you into shield until break with Aura Sphere charge, or Shulk breaking shields with charged Bustah fsmash, or Yoshi's dair being insanely broken.
Yoshi's d-air was already a nuisance enough on shielding foes, but not for breaking reasons. I don't think the problem is that, but rather that you're already stuck shielding the brunt of the attack, and now Yoshi has even more time after the fact to follow up, when he already had plenty as it was. Getting locked in his d-air while shielding really screws your options.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorIt doesn't break shields on its own, but it does about 80-90% damage to them and is pretty easy to land compared to similar attacks. And yeah, fully charging Shulk's fsmash ain't happening, but it's interesting nonetheless. I would see whether Hyper Bustah fsmash takes less cjarge.

Interestingly Greninja's N-Air was -8 on shield before, now it's completely neutral on shield though there's still landing lag to be wary of.

No; the stage is created at the start of the battle, and retains its layout for the duration of the fight (save for repairs made to damaged terrain). After all, a completed stage in Mario Maker doesn't morph or change; the idea is that the stage is built first, then played on.
